Although you still have to go that 7000 steps (actually less than a 1000 :) ). Did that on foot, btw, leaving a horse down in Ivarstead. Took around hour of realtime, including fighting 2 Ice Wraiths and this Frost Troll, of course. Took his soul as a prize :)

The gamers that have an Xbox or a Ps3 i consider them lucky i can't afford the game consoles so i have to settle with a 3 year old laptop trying to make games like skyrim run faster but it never works so i have to play games with like 5-10 fps.
I found how to get past the snow guy thing. You need to go off the trail to the left bwefore you get to him and just for over the big mountain side and Lydia will catch up eventually.
For getting past that troll, use the scroll of fireball if you have it, if not then just use the fire spell under destruction and walk backwards because he is slow. then finish him off with a greatsword or greataxe. Good guide mate, cheers:)

i find this a major problem with this game....there should be an option to have a path light up to follow when finding your way somewhere....i've been twice round this pissing mountain...thx for the upload, finally i can kick some greybeards ass...

i find this a major problem with this game....there should be an option to have a path light up to follow when finding your way somewhere....i've been twice round this pissing mountain...thx for the upload, finally i can kick some greybeards ass...
