  • months before Allen Woody die...

  • Excellent, what can you say, the best at everything they do, miss Woody.

  • Glad I got to see Woody, up close and personal, a great bassist. .

  • OH Man, sometimes I forget just how great Woody was and what a heavy bass sound he had. A lot of people dont know that McCartney was Woody's favorite bass player Just fantastic!!!

    Such a great loss...RIP

  • If I were a songwriter/performer I'd be content if Govt Mule didn't cover any of my songs and that's mainly because they'd do a better version. :-P

  • This was originally done (written) by The Beatles. Again this G-Mule version is a more melodic, and captures the feeling of the mood the song portrays. Government Mule Rocks!

  • still my favorite verse,,,RIP Allen

  • woody ate paul mccartney and kept his bass to use as a toothpick.

  • doesnt get any more rockin than this shit....love the bass line

  • Awesome, She Said She Said is my fav by them.

  • Great version of this. Remember Allen Woody!

  • I'm with you. I still love watching the footage of him playing.

  • She said "I know what it's like to be dead"

I know what it is to be sad

And she's making me feel like I've never been born.

I said "Who put all those things in your hair ?"

Things that make me feel that I'm mad

And you're making me feel like I've never been born.

She said "you don't understand what I said"

I said "No, no, no, you're wrong"

When I was a boy everything was right

    Everything was right

  • The Black Keys did this song!

  • btw, The Black Keys Rock too, but this really isn't the place for that...question is (?), how do you like Gov't Mule? This version?

  • Haha, I do like it, but I never realized that it was a popular song and just recently realized it was written by Lennon and McCartney. Government Mule are great too.

  • Most badass version of the song I've ever heard.

  • That melted my face off. Respectfully remembering standing in the Woodshed...

I wish Warren and the guys the best of luck for "Mule phase #4".

You can find some of the new bass player's stuff on here if you search his name.

  • mule has yet another new bass player,,,can't say i am familiar with him, but i am looking forward to the new line-up,,,,:)

btw, i liked your special effects.

  • totally awesome!! Thanks for posting this gem!!!!! Much peace to you my friend!!
