I think you're being a little dramatic. The Firecats had a 13.5" wide track, while most trail sleds have a 15" track. But also, the Arctic Cat trail sleds have a longer track then most of the others at 128" long compared to 121". It equals out to be about the same amount of track on the snow.
That 700 EFI laydown twin was just a damn good engine. Especially once they got the bugs worked out.

arson...F7s were some of the most powerful sleds out there when they came out. specially for power to weight ratio. you cant say ANY F series sleds had no power.. you are a tool...its a sled going fast across the lake...yea its awesome, but dont pretend there is a whole lot too it. balance? what the fuck are you balancing? rider position? yea you tuck down low.. weight transfer? maybe for the first few seconds while the track is hooking up. I am not saying people cant be skilled when driving a sled...just that it takes nothing to drag it across a lake except maybe a fast reaction time on the throttle.
And as for Rider position, you need to stand where your weight pushing down on Both shocks, and balance when your doin 90mph and you hit someones trench
