  • Taylor used a lot of compound exercises. What I mean by that is, he used exercises that would target two mucles at once, but still targetting one muscle the most. Example: A pullup does both the bicep and the back. A chest press does the Chest and the tricep, butmainly the chest.

  • first off taylor Lautner did not gain 30 pounds of muscle. he gained 30 pounds overall including some fat, muscle and water. it is pretty much impossible to gain 30 pounds of solid muscle especially if you are just getting into working out. want any advice contact me.

  • as long as you hit the weights three times a week, change your diet and take protein (1g of protein per weight ex: weigh 160 lbs then your protein intake would be 160 g per day) and cardio twice a week w/abs on same day then you'll be ripped within a year. Its all about commitment and the right plan.

It's impossible to gain 30 lbs of muscle in a year without artificial enhancement of some kind. The human body physically can't do it...learn the facts.

  • @LidarDan15 umm I'm not saying that your wrong but a lot of people think doing a lot of cardio is what you have to do to lose weight but in fact doing high intensity(consent and as hard as possible) will burn more fat by getting all your muscles working and needing oxygen which will burn more calories over a longer period and ya also diet is huge.

  • @ThaWhiteMaori because you can't solely do ab exercises. Lautner said he gains 30 lbs of muscle...that's 30 lbs total...you can't gain 30 lbs of abs. If you do ab exercises your core will strengthen while the rest of your body remains the same, thus, you become unbalanced. You need a complete body workout routine going throughout the week and a diet and cardio program to go with it. It's plain and simple.

  • @LidarDan15 Thats true. abs are covered by a layer of fat and they can only become visible if you eat healthy and add cardio into your daily schedule. Ab workouts are still very important to do but dont count on them to give you any type of a 6 or 8 pack. To get a body like taylors requires very hard and grueling exercizes along with some easier ones.
