  • u cannot compare the skills of doug williams to a legend like eddie guerrero seriously eddie G can out manuever, out wrestle, outsmart out submit him and can do it all better then dougie lol i love eddie G rip we will miss you

  • Guerrero is the man...Doug Williams sucks. I just don't see the appeal. How is it that Eddie is Hispanic and has better European uppercuts than a guy from Europe lol.

  • i was at this event! this match was good :)

  • Coller Kampf

  • doug williams has been around since 02? wow

  • @paul21mclovin thats what i'm saying. wwe should of signed him

  • Guerrero really put this guy over, he was such a good person

    R.I.P 1967-2005

  • was this the same night that Fleish SSP'ed the staircase and died 9 times? (jk on the died 9 times, but if you saw it, you know what i mean)

  • @RKinger12 nah, that was the King of Europe cup from 2007

  • 8 people dont know wrestling.

  • he's not made of pipe cleaners Dean

  • this is wrestling!

  • as always great match by guerrero. btw i hate when one guy does all the work in the ring but the other guy ends up winning.

  • what an idiot! a hurricana and a head scissors are two completly differnt moves.

  • good match

  • Damn Eddie was huge at this point!!!! Fuck Vince for encouraging all his wrestlers 2 use roids!!!!! Sure he'll b a bastard and say he didn't encourage him itself but we all know its true!!!!! Look at any wrestler that worked for WWE from 1980-2008ish

  • Did FWA have some kind of deal with WWE? cause they are making propaganda of their game

  • lol ring brother from different mothers

  • such a great match up definetly a classic

  • this had to be in 02 or 03 probably. i didn't realize that doug williams was wrestling back then

  • fuck me look how jackd up eddie is in this he mustuv been hitting the steroids hard at this point

  • that was fucking bass rip Eddie

  • awesome!

  • You dont see this much anymore. Two guys in a ring who know what they are doing. Wrestling today is so heavily coached by writing staffswith confusing and contridictory advice/suggestions/orders that it just seems to me that the guys in the ring look like they don't know what they are doing. These two guys, know exactly what they are doing and can do it on the fly.

  • gotta love eddie guerrero

  • Doug Williams talked about this match on Twitter yesterday. I'm so glad I watched it. That was technical wrestling at its best.

  • Fantastic Match right there! We need more matches like this in today's wrestling. WWE has just not done that, TNA is alright but there are still too many matches under five minutes.

Eddie I always have and I always will respect the hell out of you! He will never be forgotten, because Our Legend that is Eddie Guerrero Lives on in our Hearts. Forever.

  • Eddie was HUGE here.

  • i bet if eddie guerrero was alive today the wwe or tna or any other wrestling show wonder be borning !!!

  • I miss good wrestling like this. Does anybody know of a website I can get british wrestling?

  • @squattingbuffalo Yes FWA have just come back and they have there own wrestling channel too. Check them out.

  • What year?

  • @lindehit I think it was in 02 or 03 something like that. Not really sure.

  • @thefizz 2002. it was the FWA revival King ofEngland tournament 2002. It was however aired on Bravo in 2003.

  • @JamalService2000 Thanks for that. I guessed right then on both side of things LOL.

  • @thefizz February 9,2002 is the date this match was taped.

  • Thank you everyone for your comments on this video. I am glad you like the video to some of you. Keep the comments and the views coming.

  • @killaPej It was after he got fired from WWE for a short period of time. It only lasted a few months and he was back. He also did the first ROH show during this time.

  • @Antnyhenry wow he did the roh show? do you know where you can find that?

  • @MsJesusgod Look up the first ROH show "The Era Of Honor Begins"

  • @FUCKULUKEFITZGERALD dunce ass i already found that and watched it

  • @MsJesusgod Thats' BULLSHIT.

  • That match was great. R.I.P. Eddie

  • A perfect match.

  • Williams is one of the few bearable things in TNA

  • @DarkMatchJobber he does kinda resemble a bear like a baby bear a cub idk

  • was this match after or before eddie guerrero died?

  • @tag1989 wow u stupid cunt fuck ur mum

  • @tag1989 lmao how can it be after he died?

    THINK BOI`

  • @nachozman7 it was obviously a joke llolol....think boi!!!! :)

  • @tag1989 argh

  • Wwe vs Tna

    Rip Viva la Raza

  • a solid technical match...the likes of which you'll rarely find anymore of. Good stuff right here, Eddie was definately one of a kind!

  • GREAT MATCH! Love them both. I miss Eddie so much. :(

  • and Doug is the X-Division champ!!!

  • was this when eddie was in the indys?

  • @Glowsticks1000 it looks like it was right before he went to wwf with the radicalz

  • @Glowsticks1000 Yes it was. This match was in FWA. Sorry it took me so long to reply.

  • Excellent match

  • If anybody wants to know why WWE sucks, watch this match and then try to find a match similar to this on WWE. If WWE had matches like these, it would be a lot easier sitting through 2 hours of SD, 1 hour of ECW. RAW is impossible to watch.

  • @barley96 True. But seriously? I think everyone can see "why WWE sucks" on their own. Lol

  • @barley96 RAW has a match this good about once every 2 years, except now they have Bryan Daniel, CM Punk, and Evan Bourn putting on some good matches lately, i'm sure it won't last. They'll be jobing to some half talented all talk wrestler in two months from now.

  • lol @ "And ones not mexican"

  • This is back when FWA was at its greatest.

  • Great match, but dissapointing finish. I would've liked to see it end with a Frog Splash, or Chaos Theory.

  • commentary was shaky at times but atleast they knew what the wrestling moves were. Doug Williams has wrestled so many top guys and had great matches against all of them. He's wrestled Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Chris Hero, Eddie Guerrero, Lance Storm, Bryan Danielson, Nigel McGuinness, Alex Shelley, Christopher Daniels. On top of that Japanese legends like Mitsuharu Misawa, Yoshinari Ogawa, Akira Taue I think he might've wrestled Kenta Kobashi also. Very underrated wrestler.

  • So really about 3 or 4 guys that were top guys(how can you count people in TNA as "top guys"??????)

  • Samoa Joe's worked for Zero-1, NOAH and ROH, CM Punk's worked for ROH, TNA and WWE, Chris Hero;s toured with NOAH and works for ROH, Eddie Guerrero legend, Lance Storm worked for CWA, WAR, ECW, WCW and WWE, Bryan Danielson's worked for ROH, New Japan and toured with NOAH, Nigel McGuinness ROH and NOAH, Alex Shelley ROH, TNA and toured New Japan, Christopher Daniels ROH, TNA and New Japan. On top of that Japanese legends Taue, Misawa, Ogawa and Kobashi. Just for your smug response.

  • Thats because they can't get long term contracts and no one wants to see them on top.. They just realized that people aren't really into ROH and they know most stars(bryan danielson needs a big time gimmick change or a mask before he is accepted in WWE) from ROH can't hold a cup to the WWE superstars.. So they had Punk win by cheap match after cheap match(aka the money in the bank) because they knew their audience would be like how is this tiny guy beating the heavyweight.. and it showed true

  • Yeah ok mr. booker, thats why WWE are just about to raid ROH for their best talent. Your points pretty much void since Punk is about to fued with Taker, and will more then likely get put over him a few times. Bryan Danielson may not get over in WWE mainly due to his 5ft 9 frame, but he's been voted technical wrestler of the year 3 years in a row by PWI. So him not getting over will not be down to his wrestling ability which he'll be allowed to show less of in the WWE.

  • I bet loses the belt first pay per view

  • Yeah he may, but he will probs win it back no more then 2 months later. That's just the nature of the WWE, it only does short reigns. JBL, Cena, HHH and Orton seem to have had one long reign each, HHH maybe more, but they're hard to come by most of the time.

  • ROH means something because its widely recognised as having the best pure wrestling in North America. Guys like Danielson, Davey Richards, Nigel McGuinness could quite easily be this generations Guerrero, Benoit, Malenko. All have worked all over the world, its not a case of not holding down a contract. They've all worked in Japan like the Benoit's, Malenko's and Guerrero's of this world and all got their first bit of exposure in North America with smaller companies.

  • Wrestling is just like the rap world.. it peaked in the late 90's early 00's to most people fans of both genres whether it be wrestling or rap music.. ROH is like the fan of the new school.. meaning artists like kid cudi, asher roth, termanology, slaughterhouse.. looking for your new holy grail.. I know that WWE is picking the right people because as of the last 15 years they have.. they passed on Joe and Styles(so smart) and they slowly let their legends go and screw up another company..

  • CM punk is too sloppy for me.. WWE is making hardy and punk look bad at the same time.. Hardy(he sloppy as well)beat by some boring wrestler who has horrible leg slaps to make his kicks sound hard..(i know they all do it but punk is very lazy and you can see it almost everytime. all his spin kicks then the running knee in the corner. very sloppy) WWE passed on Joe and Styles for a reason. Christopher daniels can heavyweight contend. Danielson just seems boring to me.doug williams is bad ass tho

  • Sometimes, I scroll down a Youtube page to see if there's anything interesting being said. But, more often than not, all I find is some bored person wishing to spread the love, by making others bored with their gutwrenchingly boring conversations. Please, whatever you had to say, couldn't have had any real legitimacy, because professional wrestling is really not as complicated as some would like us to believe. Shut up.

  • That is a weird comment

  • Doug Williams the man of a 1000 holds, and Guerrero probably one of the most adaptable and charasmatic wrestlers ever.

  • Thats actually dean malenko

  • I know Malenko's called "the man of 1000 holds" I was just using it to describe Doug Williams who is one of the top technical wrestlers.

  • The commentary is pretty great too

  • why did he have to die so young he was the best there was the best there is and the best there ever will be no offense meant twards bret hart

  • I wish this match was on Eddie Guerrero's DVD,it is a 5 star match

  • i know this might be wrong to ask but is that ring smaller than the WWE size ring?

  • Eddie Guerrero is the best wrestler of all time!!!

    Rest In Peace

    ViVa La RaZa

  • amen

  • r.i.p. Good match homes. I like it.

  • guerrero had some awsome matches on the indie scene before he came back to the wwe

  • have you been able to see any of the ROH matches he had? He had a good one with Super Crazy on there 1st show for the PR intercontinental title

  • one match that i would LOVE to see...Doug Williams vs William Regal

  • given the right platform that match could easily be match of the year material

  • paulglory is much better !! FACT

  • a great athlete + a legend= an awesome match

  • wow never knew doug williams wrestled eddie guerrero... gotta love youtube

  • World Class Wrestling and worthy of a Wrestlemania spot if Willams was signed. RIP EG

  • well its pretty ovbious eddie is on steroids here

  • what a great match. the only thing that comes close to this, now. is TNA's X division and world x cup

  • must be cold all the way up there on your pedestal. tna isn't perfect. but as far as nationally broadcast shows in the US, it's either that or wwe. i'll take tna any day over wwe

  • take which ever one you want you still loose they both suck ass

  • R.I.P EDDIE GUERRERO!

  • i miss eddie

  • that is the smallest ring ive ever seen

  • nd 1 more thing who would have thought eddie would b WWE champ 3 yrs l8er at thie tym?

  • i would

  • Both guys r legends RIP Eddie

  • Eddie dominated

  • What a match!

  • was Eddie wrestling for WWE at that time ?

  • Nope, it was after his drugs and stuff. I remember watching this on Bravo at the time, it was a tournament for the "King of England" I was meant to be a revival or major pro wrestling over here, shame it never really boomed. There were some good matches though, this one was the best from what i can remember

    RIP Eddie Guerrero

  • how much better is that STF compared to Cenas

  • Cenas STFU is the worst, weakest submission i have ever seen. There is no thought, strategy behind his move. Come on he's a power wrestler yet ppl tap out to the move even though he hasn't worked over the leg/joint like a good submission wrestler would. Cena what a joke. !!!

  • now regal stretch thats a submission move

  • Yes, but the STF also targets the face as well as the leg. Cena's version's shite, but he does at least work the face.

  • @KUNGLO surrriosly and he holds his arm so weird half the time its just not even close to putting any sort of pressure whatsoever on the opponent its just so weak and stupid and vile and ugly and pathetic and worthless and unfortunate and grotesque piece of crap id ever seeeeen

  • @MsJesusgod agreed

  • @KUNGLO Yeah, but it doesn't matter in the end, he's like The Rock, (Who did the sharpshooter out of nowhere). He get's over with his mouth, not his in ring work. I'm not saying that's a good thing, just pointing it out incase you're wondering why that meathead is still around.

  • lol he was on steroids

  • Great match.....I wish Eddie was still here.

  • the rings a bit small??

  • u r just use to the WWE ring

  • I watched Williams live some months ago in Hanover, Germany. He is incredible.

  • eddie is gd RIP

  • Ah yes, the dreaded Mexican Sneak!

  • i remember this day i was in the front row and it was my birthday

  • when was the fwa on bravo i never heard of this?

  • what year was this?

  • 2002.

  • Doug good; Eddie GREAT!

  • I saw doug williams wrestle a few years ago and it was amazing. He is really well rounded as a wrestler.Him and Eddie in the same ring, man i wish i could have seen that live.

  • It's like Lord Alfred Hayes cloned hiomself and became his own announce team. Fantastic match.

  • Great match by 2 of the best, RIP Eddie

  • Two of my all-time favorites. Excellent match. RIP Guerrero

  • Awesome match...Eddie Guerrero vs a broomstick would be worth watching...but the announcers SUCK...I did crack up when they talkedbout them being twins in the ring, although one is Mexican with a moustache and bad haircut !! LMAO

  • great match, this is pure wrestling at it's finest. but the annoucers suck lmao.

  • just a glimps of dougs talent. His matches in japan are also spectacular as this match is

  • i could belive he learned it from his father, he did teach him how to wrestle.

  • i belive this was the match were he invented the lasso from el paso

  • no, he actually got the lasso from el paso from his dad I believe I'm almost sure

  • wow!!! what a match! that0s something that you don't see at the wwe! awesome wrestlers, you're right that's wrestling and that's why I miss eddie! thanks for the vid

    RIP Latino heat!

  • hands down, one of the best matches i've seen in a long time.

  • THIS IS WRESTLIN! what a match both are abserloutly astonishing wrestlers, any wonder they say Doug is the best wrestler in britain.

  • This is real wrestling not this fucking tv shit in America like wwe or tna!!!

  • That was awesome! I think I'm going to like British wrestling. One question though: why did it skip near the end of the video?

  • cool vid

  • R.I.P Eddie, Both these men are great wrestlers, and this is a great match. EDDIE! EDDIE! EDDIE!

  • Damn... Eddie Guerrero just puts on great matches everywhere he went... from Japan, to Canada, To Mexico, to even the UK! That just proves that Eddie was the absolute best.

  • i miss good wrestling matches like this and RIP eddie =(

  • great work rip eddie..n the wwe eddie

  • wooof, great Video, thanks for sharing! Doug Williams, my fav wrestler, saw him in Hannover / germany, and hope to see him again in October in Hannover.

  • Isn't that from the King Of England tournment?

  • Yes, it was.

Should have gone on for longer.

I laughed at the botched Revolution DDT which called for the sloppy finish.

  • cor blimey, lovely match!

  • Great talent, great match, great promotion!

  • A bit of a wrestling Master Class. Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!

  • good video. thanks for sharing. R.I.P Eddie.
