  • Like an angel!

  • De 10 este Video!!

  • Beautiful voice. :)

  • Amazing voice very nice

  • you make me cry ^^

  • just WONDERFULL!!!!!!!!!

  • beautiful voice

    wonderful

  • Well done! Beautiful voice!

  • this song is beatiful.......

  • good job cousin! -robin

  • i know her

    :D

  • Lovely tone of voice and interpretation - please, please re-record this and yours will be one of the "standard" versions of this song :-)

  • i took it to my favs

  • very very nice !!!!!!!!!!|!!!!!!

  • and it's lenord cohen's song, not "from Shrek"

  • Yeah, we know its Leonard Cohen's song, but it was in the movie Shrek... so it is in fact from Shrek as well.

  • Its not necessarily that Hannah deserved the silence, but she did deserve the attention. People at that open mic were often louder than the performers, and is shows great disrespect to the talents of the performers as well as to the music to not pay attention to it. It being a community event(that the Fenton Police shut down, BTW)doesn't excuse the total lack of respect for the people trying to hear the fine music that was being performed. If you are not there to listen, than you shouldn't go.

  • i give my applause to that.

This performance is so beautiful that it would be worth to be recorded again without that noie in the background.

I hear many covers of this song up to now, but her interpretation is absolutely great

Thanks for posting it even despite the background

  • wow, those people are annoying. why don't they just shut up? that woman is truly amazing...

  • It's true that the open mic night at the Coffee Beanery was a chatty event, but it still had a community atmosphere. It's neat to see this video get comments outside of our Fenton area. Hannah has an amazing voice, and she deserves the silence, but this was a community event, and people often came to socialize and share their musical talents...

  • c'est vraiment dômage qu'on ne t'écoute pas !!

tu as une très belle voix!!magnifique et bravo!!

  • I'm french, but i write you in english. They (public) should have a very big and and a solemn silence for this song and your so great interpretation. Go on, don't give up and play for people anderstand your work.

  • tu chantes trop bien mais dommage que les gens n'ont pas de respect pour toi une voix comme ça c'est pas pour faire beau alors shut

  • Best

  • "It's not somebody who has seen The Light, it's a cold and it's a broken Allelulia" Will anyone please tell me what is the message of this song?

I highly appreciate anyone's interpretation of it.

    Thanks and blessings,

  • The song is written from the perspective of a shakey/secular new believer who is trying to explain what makes one accept Christ. For your specific selection: The holy spirit is not discovered for one's self as a tangible "cry you can hear at night" or by witnessing "somebody [else] who has seen the light" (*either is saved or has had a near death experience), but is only discovered through your own desperate "cold and broken" cry for the Lord's presence in your life.

  • Thanks for your prely, Bigpotdave, I really liked your comments.

    God bless,

    Teresita

  • uhm actually the Artist is Jeff Buckley

  • The song was originally written and performed by Leonard Cohen. Jeff Buckley's cover from his album Grace made it famous. The performance in this video is based on Jeff Buckley's version.

Others who have done famous performances of this song are Rufus Wainwright, John Cale (which is heard on the movie Shrek), and k.d. Lang.

Or you could just Wiki it and find out for yourself...

  • who compose this song????

    IS magnific!!!!!

  • Nightline Playlist: Michael Bublé

Grammy-Nominated Star Loves Classic Songs and 'Cheesy '80s Songs'Font Size Share Who else does Bublé love? "If I'm in a bit of a dark mood ... I love Jeff Buckley's version of 'Hallelujah.' Of course, it's a Leonard Cohen song. But it's one of my favorites. I mean, it's truly amazing and it's a toss up between listening to Jeff Buckley's version or kd lang. kd lang, to me, is one of the greatest vocalists in the world, easily.

  • thanks for the info

  • haha i just learned that song on the guitar i love it

  • you have tallent ;)

  • en effet, ce bruit de fond de bavardages est assez décevant et inconvenant. Bruits de chaises en prime

  • Oui, je sais. Il est difficile d'obliger les assistances américaines à écouter, ils sont très grossier ici.
