I know this comment is late. You have very beautiful hair. You seem to like the maxiglide; the sedu looked better. The teeth and steam for my hair; naw does not sound like a great idea. I would be afaid of the teeth pulling my hair and the steam would not straighten my hair. But anyway the info helped and I thank you for uploading.
Wow you use pretty huge sections of hair in your flat-ironing technique o.o You have such pretty hair but I personally think the Sedu side came out better looking, maybe it's just your camera but the Maxiglide side looks kinda shapeless and stuck together. I would not have been happy with your 5 hours later results at all.
Im curious about the teeth of the Maxiglide. Can it be removed??, for some people the teeth pull on their hair i just want to have that option of removing it.
@LadyShayBK This is a really late reply. but the maxi glide comes with two teeth sets. There's the teeth one which you use initially to get your hair straight. Then there's the actual smooth one that makes a maxiglide a regular flat iron. Usually you use it when you just want to retouch on your hair.
If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.
I need help!! I'm a natural 4a and my ends won't straighten properly. What could be causing it? I only used heat twice since first going natural (2 years ago) Could it be that my hair is not used to the heat, or do I have to buy a better flat iron( I just trimmed my ends, so they can't be split). I'm getting REALLY frustrated!! Do you have to train your ends to stay straight?? PLEASE reply quickly..thanks!
P.S. What is the best flat iron for coily hair type??
even if you trimmed them it doesnt mean they're healthy. they're probably really dry. which is normal for hair like yours. you just have to make sure that after you wash it youre using a deep conditioner or leave-in conditioner and get your ends trimmed regularly. i used to go every two weeks. even if your hair looks shiny and feels soft dont be fooled, it can still be unhealthy.
also, you might need a new styling tool. you honestly just have to search around for what your personal preferences.
@sugarcane91 You'll need a good ceramic flat iron...the solia and the sedu are really good flat irons(sedu is rated the top flat iron in the world). They're supposely safer than a chi(I personally use the solia for my natural 4a/4b hair). You can find both flat irons on folica.com... when flat ironing try parting your hair in small sections inorder to get better results...check out wwestNDNbeautyy and ciarahoneydip for tips.
yeah maxiglide is stupid. ive never even owned on e and i can say that. it probably would have turned out better if you used a product that works. pffft. just saying. like chi silk infusion. and steam makes hair frizz in the first place. like if you straightened your hair then got in the shower. sooo idk why .. anyway sedu is amazing so product makes a difference. its the top rated flat iron in the world right now. and chi makes it better.
I have used both of the Straighteners before. I actually have a video on my page of my sisters hair after I straightened it with the Sedu. The Maxi Glide was ok. I used it before But, honestly I love my Sedu. That's my personal opinion everyones hair is different and of course responds differently. But the Sedu side didn't work exactly the same as the maxiglide because it wasn't used correctly. Even a stylist uses a small comb to detangle while straightening.
Thanks for posting the video, but honestly I thought you were making a commercial for that company. I bought one of these when they first came in to the market like 4 years ago and I was not satisfied with it at all. It seems like you are injecting humidity to your hair and it made my hair puffy and I was so surprised when you said it makes the hair silkier than flat Iron . Let me know the trick..as I still have it but useless for me although I am white and have naturally straight hair.
great video. my only complaint is that stupid text box. it doesn't need to be there thruout the whole video. it makes it harder to see the rest of your hair and its distracting. other than that, its very informative. i love how you gave updates and such. maybe you should use the humidity repellant that came w. the package.
@orochimaruisabadass you have the option to turn off the annotations/text box. There's a triangle in the bottom right corner below the video, run your mouse over that and the top option is 'turn off/on annotations."
Girl, You are heaven sent,,,,im 9 months post. I HATE FLAT HAIR.. and was about t get a relaxer cause i dont like the puffy but when i get presses its sooooooooo flat.. i cant wait.. IM SOLD!! THANK You
I like the Sedu side better, it got straighter and thats what i want when i buy a flat iron lol! If the maxiglide didnt have the steam i dont think it would have been shiny. I had the Maxiglide when it first came out and i hated it, it even burnt my moms 4a hair=( I cant believe they raised the price for that thing either.
I just bought one but i am not sure if i should cancel it because i think it's just made for people with curly and difficult to straighten hair. My hair is not thick but not that thin and it's relaxed; very easy to straighten. Should i cancel the order? I'm sixteen and needed to get a new straightener, i used to have a flat iron, i plan on using it every other day.
Thanks for the review. I always wanted to know if the hair would stand up to the passing of time. I don't want to be doing my hair every morning because that would definitely damage the hair. I was looking at the Instyler but the Maxiglide is a similar product too.
I love watching your videos. I have learned so much. I'm in the process of transitioning-this will be my 5th month and i've been flat ironing it and i know i shouldn't but yesterday when i flatironed it, it seemed to be kind of fried although i had it on the lowest setting. in need of help,
The Maxiglide actually gets right up to the root without burning. Almost like a relaxer look but I think if you're looking for straightness, you ned to be on setting 6 or higher. I'm not sure why hers wasn't as flat as mine since my texture is coarser and thicker. In the winter my maxiglide flat ironed lasted two weeks!
Well if you read my comment above, I use a maxiglide and it get's it bone straight. I only do it about once a year. I'm not a flat-ironing advocate unless you are choosing to wear your hair straight all the time because eventually after frequent straightening, the hair's curl pattern will change.
I needed something for my roots, too!! I purchased a Remington 1" Sleek and Curl and I LOVE it. Straightens my roots right out in one shot as you can control the heat. You can find reviews of it on You Tube. It's a brown flat iron with pink plates. Did I mention I LOVE it? Take Care~
ohh ok. im a 4b type. i was just wondering. i thought u were a 4b! i was about to say. because i was looking through the argos catalouge and always see that one and i have always wondered will that work for my hair??? so yh :)
thx, have u got any friends with thick afro hair that use that straightener?
i love my maxiglide...my hair is very full and those teeth helps to tame it...but I use it with only one ceramic plate and the other side with teeth...it's mix matchy but works for me
OMG. I have this tool. It didnt work for me, but I'll try this technique. I'm actually in the middle of deep conditioning right now and thought to look up a few temp straightening techniques. How lucky for me. lol. thank you.
I am loving the Maxiglade results just a tad bit more than the Sedu. I might be investing in a Maxiglade soon. It can replace my Revlon "2" ceramic iron. I actually like the 5 hour later look on the Maxiglide side. It has body and charcter to it if that makes since. Loving this vid so much, thanks a ton.
If I straighten it harder, it will last a week or so. If I straighten like in this video, it will get straighter as the week goes along and last about the same amount of time.
Great video for comparison, even though I don't plan to flat iron my hair unless to trim, because I love my natural kinky, curly hair. I seen someone else use the sedu and their hair had more shine, etc. So I am wondering what else may effect the results such as products used on hair, environment and hair texture? Also how often do you flat iron your hair and which side normal comes out better?
thanx! i was trying to decide! i felt so bad for your "sedu" side; it looked like overfried straw; your "maxi" side was truely gorgeous and touchable; hope you pitched the "sedu"
With the Sedu I just have to use different products and I have to use a small tooth comb when I use it. It makes a huge difference. It the teeth and the steam in the maxiglide that make it look a little better.
I have both the sedu and maxi glide, my opinion is this. Maxiglide works better in ntural hair, than sedu. Whe u use the sedu on relax hair, it does a really good job. I noticed that when i used the sedu on my niece that has type 3c hair, minutes after finishing her hair got very very puffy. The sedu will work better for straighter hair types, while the maxi glide will work better for curly hair types. The maxiglide WON!
Thank you for doing this video. I had a maxiglide once, but someone stole it. Now I realize why it was stolen! I was wondering if I should get it again now that I am completely natural.
Gorgeous hair! This is a very helpful tutorial. More people should put comparative videos out there like this so we know what we are getting into when we buy certain products! =)
The Maxiglide side wins hands down. :D Try the new one the XP model it makes your hair more shiner and more softer to. I like using the maxiglide it's more effortless to use.
I think your hair looks beautiful 24 hours after the maxiglide side it almost restyled itself into a natual cute curly style. If I'd were you I would use the maxiglide more often than the sedu.
i'm planning on straightening my hair out soon, mine goes past my shoulders.....but is there anything for "our" type of hair to help against the humidity? because in atlanta its REALLY humid, and if i pay $ for a hot comb or to get it straightened, it needs to last at least 3 days....
You can try serums. Like Frizz Ease or Chi Silk Infusion. You can also try steaming your hair a few days (a few times) before you flat iron, that way the hair won't pull all of the moisture out of the atmosphere when it's straight.
I think that you are biased because, the sedu clearly one the 5 hour and 24 hour test (based on appearance) but, you keep praising the maxi-glide. Although it held in moisture, it didn't do much to help the hair appearance and it didn't keep your hair straight either so.... yup, you are really biased.
The author clearly stated that she was not looking for "straight hair". The maxiglide side looks better, not straighter than the sedu, also the sedu side is a bit frizzy. But to each their own... it may appear to you as biased, but check out other videos regarding both products. Peace.
I didn't think the Sedu won.. the maxiglide has a pretty textured look after 24 hours. The Sedu side looks flat..and if you're knowledgeable about natural hair, you know that keeping moisture IN is the very best thing you can do. Just my humble opinion.
Thanks so much for this! It was exactly what I was hoping to find. I have the same texture hair, and same length. I was considering both of these products, but now I see that the sedu gives a result similar to my regular $30 ceramic iron. However, the maxiglide does what I hoped it would. This is sooo helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for posting this. I like how the maxiglide works on your hair, even when it reverts back it looked really nice. My hair is natural but its short so I won't be trying the MG anytime soon. I did just order the instyler and I'll see how that compares to the old pressing comb.
Hello. I just saw this video and you mentioned that the Maxiglide side gives you curls later on in the day. Could it be possible that it's the steam that caused the ends to curl later on in the day? I like how your hair changes styles though. It's almost like having two hairstyles in one day; so neat.
reversion is a bitch..lol! but yours did it with grace unlike my hair which I've battling ever since I hit puberty. Your hair is so pretty. My sisters hair curls up when she straightens just like upir Maxiglide side did, and I think that looks pretty. I just purchased the Sedu and can't wait to get it.
Luvd the vid! It's time to start doing something with my hair & this vid was a good place to start. I like your style-hair & personality wise. I will investigate further though before I invest in a straightening tool.
bought the M.G, paid $145 from their site, tried it and hated it! My hair is past my shoulders and very dry. I tried it, put both the Beyond Straight AND their The END in it and it still felt like straw.
I think a roller set is much more faster and gets the job done better...
But yours came out BEAUTIFUL! Guess it's not for everybody.
Many thanks for this video. The Maxiglide iron is what's up...I like that the Mglide side still had some body..whereas the Sedu, not so much. Thanks, chica!
I loved the comparison demonstration. I think she thought this out well. Still, I do not feel that she used the proper heat settings for her hair type and thus why her hair was only half done in when in its 'finished' state or 5hrs later. The humidity of June would have been enough texture in 5hrs than what she left in her hair after 1.5hrs with either iron. For body, she could also try blowdrying her hair with a round brush.
OK I watched your video 4 times just to give myself the final idea. The sedu side was not shinier but it looked much better. Even after the humidity kicked it. It wasn't as frizzier as the Maxiglide. I went to 6 salons and asked them their opinion on which one to purchase and 4 out 6 told me that Maxiglide will tear your hair out eventually and its heavier and most importantly doesn't straighten hair types 3B-4c as effective. So I will buy the Sedu.
hey you and your hair are beautiful! Thanks for showing the maxi glide cuz I was realy curious about the product. I only press my hair once a year so which one was better?
I think so. It really depends on how you like your hair to look. If you want it stick straight and you don't care about your hair being burned straight, then turn it ALL the way up. I've seen the maxiglide and the sedu turn tightly coiled hair into a mock relaxer. Just take your time and use heat protectant.
No, we don't want to burn the hair. LOL! I was wondering about the heat levels though. Thanks. I think I will purchase my MaxiGlide from HSN! BTW , a great heat protectant and styling aid to help hold is KeraCare Curling Wax
My daughter is a college student and plays on the baskeball and volley ball team she does not want to put relaxer in her hair. Her hair is similar to the young lady in the example.Does this thing really work? As her father I do not want to suggest something thta messess up her hair.
It works, but she may need a product that helps her hair not revert. If she wants to wear her hair straight most of the time, then I would NOT suggest flat ironing and seeking a permanent alternative. Too much heat will damage her hair, guaranteed. As a former athlete, I made the decision to be natural and wearing it as it is. A lot less headache and my hair was healthier because I didn't flat iron all of the time and I didn't relax. Good luck with your (and her) decision.
I keep my hair natural also and I wanted to try styling my hair in different ways. I was wondering if you use any particular curling iron and if so which one is it? Thanks :D
I haven't used a curling iron in years. I keep buying them though! LOL. I like Babylis porcelain irons. What I do for curls is after I flat iron I use Flexi-Rods. OR I rollerset before I flat iron.
I bought it online at roundbrushhair . com. I found that if you ask your local beauty supply store they should be able to get it for you. Ask them if they can check their order catalog a lot of them in this area are finally selling Dominican products. You can even find Silicon Mix at CVS.
It's on the youtube HSN channel. The differences that I remember was the water reservoir, it's bigger. And they added a swivel cord and a grip handle. The basic function is the same though.
Yes, the MaxiGlide side is much more more nicer! Just look how well the steam kept your hair! It didn't just fry it, it steamed water to the shaft which is very important.
I just received the maxiglide and it DELIVERS! I have 4b hair and did NOT blow dry my hair straight to use this product. I conditioned my hair with a natural conditioner and included castor oil. Let the hair air dry by banding. Anyway, the maxiglide did an AMAZING job I used the setting of 5 and my hair was straight. I highly recommend this product. Thank J030977 for the demo!
What is the name of your new channel. I cannot get to it.Thanks!!!!!

I am loving the Maxiglade results just a tad bit more than the Sedu. I might be investing in a Maxiglade soon. It can replace my Revlon "2" ceramic iron. I actually like the 5 hour later look on the Maxiglide side. It has body and charcter to it if that makes since. Loving this vid so much, thanks a ton.

ur hair is nice...thanks for the compare...I won't be getting either of them bc I want silky str8 w/ movement plus getting very close to the scalp

if you need to go over your hair more than 2 times, then you probably haven't set it high enough

I do when I want my hair stick straight. Thanks
j030977 3 years ago
how long does it stay straight..i sweat in my hair
summer362008 3 years ago
If I straighten it harder, it will last a week or so. If I straighten like in this video, it will get straighter as the week goes along and last about the same amount of time.

Sedu is the best
GeorgianGirl1987 3 years ago 4
I love the Sedu.
j030977 3 years ago
did any one else see the picture pop up?
Jessiejesjess 3 years ago
Great video for comparison, even though I don't plan to flat iron my hair unless to trim, because I love my natural kinky, curly hair. I seen someone else use the sedu and their hair had more shine, etc. So I am wondering what else may effect the results such as products used on hair, environment and hair texture? Also how often do you flat iron your hair and which side normal comes out better?
NappyMACDiva3 3 years ago
I flat iron about 2-4 times a year.
Every time I flat iron, my hair comes out differently because of products, heat, environment, technique.
I wouldn't expect anyone else to have the same results as me unless they have the exact same hair though.
j030977 3 years ago
what kind of protectant you said you used on your hair before straightening?
shay18 3 years ago
Redken Smooth down heat glide.

Have you tried keracare oil sheen with humidity blocker before? I heard it works well for humid weather after straightening hair.
sdeokoro 3 years ago
Keracare oil sheen is the business, I just got finished using my maxiglide and sprayed some on it. It looks FAB
brownnbubblie 3 years ago
No. Keracare and my hair don't mix. I can make my hair straighter, I just choose not too.
j030977 3 years ago
I like the maxiglide side better. Sedu appears to be dry.

you and your hair is so beautiful thnks for the tips im realliie gonna get ma dad to buy me a maxiglide now
YAY ME!!!
kadiebaybie 3 years ago
thanx! i was trying to decide! i felt so bad for your "sedu" side; it looked like overfried straw; your "maxi" side was truely gorgeous and touchable; hope you pitched the "sedu"
braidedjeans 3 years ago
No. LOL I still have it.
With the Sedu I just have to use different products and I have to use a small tooth comb when I use it. It makes a huge difference. It the teeth and the steam in the maxiglide that make it look a little better.
j030977 3 years ago
Nice video.

I never tried the Sedu but I have a Maxiglide. It rocks! I have long tight curly hair and it's so shiny with the MG.

is this safe to use on transitioning hair, and can i use this after i wash my hair, like for a regimen.

I HAVE TO GET ONE OF THESE MAN my mom duznt want me to but watch ima get one then post a video..MAYBE
videomakermaniac 3 years ago
I have both the sedu and maxi glide, my opinion is this. Maxiglide works better in ntural hair, than sedu. Whe u use the sedu on relax hair, it does a really good job. I noticed that when i used the sedu on my niece that has type 3c hair, minutes after finishing her hair got very very puffy. The sedu will work better for straighter hair types, while the maxi glide will work better for curly hair types. The maxiglide WON!
SexyDrBitch 3 years ago 3
Thank you for doing this video. I had a maxiglide once, but someone stole it. Now I realize why it was stolen! I was wondering if I should get it again now that I am completely natural.
slharris1984 3 years ago
they both lost me:(

Gorgeous hair! This is a very helpful tutorial. More people should put comparative videos out there like this so we know what we are getting into when we buy certain products! =)
crystalroselove 3 years ago
The Maxiglide side wins hands down. :D Try the new one the XP model it makes your hair more shiner and more softer to. I like using the maxiglide it's more effortless to use.
spphr308 3 years ago
I think your hair looks beautiful 24 hours after the maxiglide side it almost restyled itself into a natual cute curly style. If I'd were you I would use the maxiglide more often than the sedu.
Thanks for the video!
abender08 3 years ago
i'm planning on straightening my hair out soon, mine goes past my shoulders.....but is there anything for "our" type of hair to help against the humidity? because in atlanta its REALLY humid, and if i pay $ for a hot comb or to get it straightened, it needs to last at least 3 days....
ndkid86heart 3 years ago
You can try serums. Like Frizz Ease or Chi Silk Infusion. You can also try steaming your hair a few days (a few times) before you flat iron, that way the hair won't pull all of the moisture out of the atmosphere when it's straight.
j030977 3 years ago
I think that you are biased because, the sedu clearly one the 5 hour and 24 hour test (based on appearance) but, you keep praising the maxi-glide. Although it held in moisture, it didn't do much to help the hair appearance and it didn't keep your hair straight either so.... yup, you are really biased.
EfikZara 3 years ago
ok thanks
j030977 3 years ago
The author clearly stated that she was not looking for "straight hair". The maxiglide side looks better, not straighter than the sedu, also the sedu side is a bit frizzy. But to each their own... it may appear to you as biased, but check out other videos regarding both products. Peace.
acnatural 3 years ago
I didn't think the Sedu won.. the maxiglide has a pretty textured look after 24 hours. The Sedu side looks flat..and if you're knowledgeable about natural hair, you know that keeping moisture IN is the very best thing you can do. Just my humble opinion.
curlychronicles 3 years ago
Thanks so much for this! It was exactly what I was hoping to find. I have the same texture hair, and same length. I was considering both of these products, but now I see that the sedu gives a result similar to my regular $30 ceramic iron. However, the maxiglide does what I hoped it would. This is sooo helpful! Thank you!

Thanks for posting this. I like how the maxiglide works on your hair, even when it reverts back it looked really nice. My hair is natural but its short so I won't be trying the MG anytime soon. I did just order the instyler and I'll see how that compares to the old pressing comb.

do the plated really mealt on a maxi glide after a year?!!
cuz i just a bought a new one!:S
arwa4eva 3 years ago
Hello. I just saw this video and you mentioned that the Maxiglide side gives you curls later on in the day. Could it be possible that it's the steam that caused the ends to curl later on in the day? I like how your hair changes styles though. It's almost like having two hairstyles in one day; so neat.

Your hair is beautiful in its natural state. I would just leave it that way.
goldharveybell 3 years ago 3
reversion is a bitch..lol! but yours did it with grace unlike my hair which I've battling ever since I hit puberty. Your hair is so pretty. My sisters hair curls up when she straightens just like upir Maxiglide side did, and I think that looks pretty. I just purchased the Sedu and can't wait to get it.

mslegacy01 3 years ago
bought the M.G, paid $145 from their site, tried it and hated it! My hair is past my shoulders and very dry. I tried it, put both the Beyond Straight AND their The END in it and it still felt like straw.
I think a roller set is much more faster and gets the job done better...
But yours came out BEAUTIFUL! Guess it's not for everybody.
mslegacy01 3 years ago
Many thanks for this video. The Maxiglide iron is what's up...I like that the Mglide side still had some body..whereas the Sedu, not so much. Thanks, chica!

I loved the comparison demonstration. I think she thought this out well. Still, I do not feel that she used the proper heat settings for her hair type and thus why her hair was only half done in when in its 'finished' state or 5hrs later. The humidity of June would have been enough texture in 5hrs than what she left in her hair after 1.5hrs with either iron. For body, she could also try blowdrying her hair with a round brush.
Dreamsingah 3 years ago
OK I watched your video 4 times just to give myself the final idea. The sedu side was not shinier but it looked much better. Even after the humidity kicked it. It wasn't as frizzier as the Maxiglide. I went to 6 salons and asked them their opinion on which one to purchase and 4 out 6 told me that Maxiglide will tear your hair out eventually and its heavier and most importantly doesn't straighten hair types 3B-4c as effective. So I will buy the Sedu.

how much do they cost and where can i get one? also my hair is shorter than yours so do they have a smaller one ? thanks
marie41789 3 years ago
Maxi - around $70, you can get it from Linens N Things or online at maxiusbeauty.
Sedu - around $100, you can get it online at folica . com.
Yes, they both have smaller irons. :)

hey you and your hair are beautiful! Thanks for showing the maxi glide cuz I was realy curious about the product. I only press my hair once a year so which one was better?
brinastar85 3 years ago
Your hair turned out great. Do you think it will work on REALLY kinky natual hair? I have type 4/c
pinkglamourgirl1 3 years ago
I think so. It really depends on how you like your hair to look. If you want it stick straight and you don't care about your hair being burned straight, then turn it ALL the way up. I've seen the maxiglide and the sedu turn tightly coiled hair into a mock relaxer. Just take your time and use heat protectant.
j030977 3 years ago
No, we don't want to burn the hair. LOL! I was wondering about the heat levels though. Thanks. I think I will purchase my MaxiGlide from HSN! BTW , a great heat protectant and styling aid to help hold is KeraCare Curling Wax
pinkglamourgirl1 3 years ago
Thanks so much for doing this. All your tips were very helpful and helped me to make a decision.

My daughter is a college student and plays on the baskeball and volley ball team she does not want to put relaxer in her hair. Her hair is similar to the young lady in the example.Does this thing really work? As her father I do not want to suggest something thta messess up her hair.
BIGPREZY 3 years ago
It works, but she may need a product that helps her hair not revert. If she wants to wear her hair straight most of the time, then I would NOT suggest flat ironing and seeking a permanent alternative. Too much heat will damage her hair, guaranteed. As a former athlete, I made the decision to be natural and wearing it as it is. A lot less headache and my hair was healthier because I didn't flat iron all of the time and I didn't relax. Good luck with your (and her) decision.

After the 24 hours the maxiglide curls are really pretty! Great demo!
koalakinzz 3 years ago
one side is shinner than the other side i see.
puddingasgood 3 years ago
It's the steam. BUT the Sedu is a great iron, I would just have to turn the heat up... that's ain't happening.
j030977 3 years ago
I keep my hair natural also and I wanted to try styling my hair in different ways. I was wondering if you use any particular curling iron and if so which one is it? Thanks :D
dulcecaramelo23 3 years ago
I haven't used a curling iron in years. I keep buying them though! LOL. I like Babylis porcelain irons. What I do for curls is after I flat iron I use Flexi-Rods. OR I rollerset before I flat iron.

Hi JO30977, Great video!! Thanks for sharing. Where can I purchase the Dominican leave in that you spoke of? I live in NYC
Thailiastarrlet 3 years ago
I bought it online at roundbrushhair . com. I found that if you ask your local beauty supply store they should be able to get it for you. Ask them if they can check their order catalog a lot of them in this area are finally selling Dominican products. You can even find Silicon Mix at CVS.

there's a new maxiglide? i have the old one too? what's the difference between the new and old?
Muslimah33 3 years ago
It's on the youtube HSN channel. The differences that I remember was the water reservoir, it's bigger. And they added a swivel cord and a grip handle. The basic function is the same though.
j030977 3 years ago
Yes, the MaxiGlide side is much more more nicer! Just look how well the steam kept your hair! It didn't just fry it, it steamed water to the shaft which is very important.
mslegacy01 3 years ago
Yes! That's why I love it.
j030977 3 years ago
I just received the maxiglide and it DELIVERS! I have 4b hair and did NOT blow dry my hair straight to use this product. I conditioned my hair with a natural conditioner and included castor oil. Let the hair air dry by banding. Anyway, the maxiglide did an AMAZING job I used the setting of 5 and my hair was straight. I highly recommend this product. Thank J030977 for the demo!
