this wasnt warren jeffs trial. This is my uncle Rodney Holm's trial. My dad went to it. I was there that day when I was about 14. My dad dropped me off at a nearby pawn shop because I couldnt go in. I watched Richy Rich and my dad got mad. That was the day Rodney Holm was sentenced to like 1 year in prison with work release.

flds beliefs are ENTIRELY human-works/effort based.Everthing flds are taught has to do with dressing a certain way,paying money frequently to the leadership,and in short,total obedience at all times to whoever is the "prophet," etc. True Christian teaching and belief is based upon faith in Christ's death, not upon human efforts.

all belief systems are far from equal- flds beliefs are extremely skewed, limiting, cruel in many ways, hypocritical, and based on long-proven falsehoods. however, there is so much fear and mind control, and the people are so dedicated and hard-working, that it has lasted a while. It should NOT be compared at any time as some sort of equally valid belief system as evangelical Christian beliefs, that are based upon the redemption for mankind's sin via Christ's death on the Cross of Calvary.

Organised religion is evil. I dont know if there is a god but I do know that religious groups are there to control people and give power to a few. Any person who claims god speaks to them... I don't want to challenge your IQ, what part of "Scenes From The Trial of Warren Jeffs" is confusing to you? Your state? Your religious leader? Full transparentcy would be great!

I'm in no way associated with any of this and I'm trying to figure out what point your trying to make. You obviously are trying to link something here... but what? what was your point in posting this video? what are you trying to show? I can show video excerpts of various trials around the country, but I'm wondering what you wanted to make the rest of us aware of, or was this just a topic that interested you? GOOGLE search "Warren Jeffs" add "polygamy" or "rape". He was on the FBI's 10 MOST WANTED list as he fled prosecution. The reward was set at $100,000. He has a huge temple in El Dorado Texas, over 6,000 followers and he could make WACO look like a pic nic. He was sentenced 11-20-07

The theology is the same, Jeffs uses the book of Mormon, but requires his believers to use editions that are 1976 or older. They follow strict LDS teachings as were given by Brigham Young & Joesph Smith. The Book of Mormon has had over 2600 revisions since the 1830 Text was written. FLDS is Fundametalist Latter Day Saints!

the Reorganized church had more proximity than the FLDS does and they fell due to a lack of money and were taken over by the Community of Christ church..

By the VERY admission that they use editions which are pre-1976, also shows how obsolete and worthless as a "mormon" doctrine and how they could not POSSIBLY receive modern day revelations as the LDS faith does.

Scratch my last comment... apparently you believe that two religions (although named differently) are actually the same.  That's like saying the Greek orthodox church is the same as the Russian orthodox church.

But I'm an open minded individual... is there a link here that has some facts and data to support it?...or are we just talking about two religions using the same book? Please bring out some facts and data to make your point (I'm a statistician so data is always helpful).

They use the book of Mormon as you do, accept they require it to be 1976 or older. You know, the mark of Cain doctrine. I have the theology of both churches and the Tanner photo reprints of B of M 1830 and Pearl of Great Price 1851. These people follow both Brigham Young and Joseph Smith in more detail than the modern church. They are the original Mormons, minus the 2600 revisions made to the same teachings through this present time.

Mormons do not believe in pologamy. That was a group of people who broke away from the mormon church. Do no associate Warren Jeffs with the mormon church. He is a false prophet.

He is a false prophet, but I've listened to most of the 550 audios of his I have and have read several of his theology books and you know he quotes much of Joseph Smith & Brigham Young text. While left of center, he's using the old discourses. Kind of like Baptist vs Southern Baptist!

No I stayed outside with the media. I did 4 TV interviews, 2 via newspaper. I provide 12 broadcasts with Jeffs audios and 18 with Rulon Jeffs sermons in text format. I was the Utah FOR KIDS SAKE rep. in 2000, when I entered this issue. On the flip side, I have dear friends in Colorado City and spent the weekend with them, instead of a St. George Motel.
