  • Lyrics are so right on

  • Kill all de white people!

  • kill you

  • 9 people are old

  • In my humble opinion, this is one of the greatest songs ever written.

  • Never heard this song before but I love it!

  • So Cooked

  • I think this must have been last thing Tosh did with Bob and whalers before he set out on his own.

  • @MrDylans7

Actually Bob collaborated with Peter on his legalize it album. Even though they later had separate careers, Peter always was, and always will be a Wailer.

  • What exactly did Bob do on that album? I know 2 of the I-Threes and Bunny collaborated but Bob?

  • @Nikoz7Makaveli bob was in the usa at that time. bunny wailer took over his part in singing

  • allright thnx!

  • @Nikoz7Makaveli Just with arrangements and melodies. I don't think he actually performed on the album. But he had input.

  • me old white guy and i love this sound

  • Ah-oe!

  • Wow i love this freakin' wicked wahwah sound!!!!

  • rasta pedraaaaaaaaaa \o/!

  • I don't take the song too literally concerning the individuals they cited as being inaccurately represented as great man. I think they were trying to scrutinize the entire system in general more than they were trying to attack these individuals. It's tough...

  • yeah jah rastafaraa tosh is a god

  • YES! the originators- bunny, bob and peter, perfect harmonysers ! why did they ever break up.money and fame allways kills greatness:(

  • i cant get enough of this

  • how you blame the youth? blame the leader__ denis

  • You can't blame the youth not at all, you can't fool the youth, talk to to me, so called great men were doing, robbing, raping and looting ~ 'Steppin Razor '

  • Down with the White Man.

  • @ogopogo Down with you, you racist.

  • @ogopogo Down with oppression, down with racism, down with apartheid, down with segregation and down with separatism.

'Got to put aside, dem segregation, got to come together, we are birds of a feather' Steppin Razor

  • peter and bob were both great, but two alpha men can not share the lime light together. thats why peter had to go his way..too .much talent for one small stage. too bad ... Jah love them both

  • @stephano635 your head, your habits and the things that construct u along ur life are small as toy,and inocent as child.. its man capability to distorce reality and control it, that sometimes put man ahead of himself, making him iluded

  • @stephano635 i never expected such knowledge off our brothers in a comment on youtube. hug to you and be truth

  • @lbjkbai He sing is backup one time will tell to

  • Yahweh selassie I jah rastafari

  • When EVERY Christmas Come, DONT BUY TOY GUNS FOR YOUR CHILDREN...CUS WHEN THEY GROW OLDER..THEY WANNA GET THE REAL THING..

Preferably, Buy Them Toys With The Inscription "Mom And Dad Love You Always"

The Holy Book Said.... And I Quote, " TRAIN UP A CHILD THE WAY HE WILL GROW, SO WHEN HIS OLD HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT"

    Yea Man!

    TEACH THE YOUTH RIGHT !

THE WAILERS' SONGS IS FOR THE CONSCIOUS MIND!! PEACE, LOVE AND RESPEC TO ALL Y'ALL FOR THUMBING UP THIS GREAT SONG FROM A GREAT

    MAN!

  • @MrNaturalsex having a real gun is only common sense... for an adult... for self defense... but giving kids guns as "toys" is wrong. Educate children on how guns are used, to protect yourself from tyranny. I am a true dreadlock Rasta and I have guns. I hope I never use them anywhere but the range, but I am ready if I have to. THis is self preservation and is perfectly just in the eyes of JAH. But no, guns are not "toys" for christmas... ONE LOVE JAH BLESS

  • @rfl133 I played with toy guns all through my childhood, and I don't even care to handle them or own them now. A toy is a toy. A gun is a gun. Gonna get to shootin', gonna have me some fun... Thanks, I'm going to write me a song now.

  • @rfl133 Thanks For The Comment Brotha. I pray You dont have to Use Your Fire Arm. God Bless And Protect You And Keep Us all Out Of Trouble. Peace And One Love.

  • good good good good good!!!!!!22k

  • third time hitting replay, so far ;-)

There was a very early recording of this, I pretty sure it was sung by Bob Marley - on a compilation of early early Bob Marley stuff. The record itself was probably from the seventies (English release?) - I came across it in the early 80s but it looked old then. Ring any bells for anyone? Not listed on the wikipedia Bob Marley discography page....

  • @z5hmg This song was written by Peter Tosh and as you can see here, he is the one performing it as part of the original Wailera which consisted of himself, Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer and their band. Bob Marley usually gets credits for songs done by the Wailers which were neither written or performed by him, probably because he remained with the band and became the focal point of it after Tosh and Wailer left. Great song by great artists

  • No love for Bunny Wailer..? He's to Bob's right.. This isn't the Wailers with Peter Tosh and Bob Marley.. because Perter Tosh, Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer WERE the Wailers..

  • HAPPY BIRTH DAY PETER RIP, ONE LOVE, OCTOBER 19

  • It's not The Wailers with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh or Bob Marley and The Wailers.

They're just THE WAILERS, they were some sort of family, they were very unite. Until 1974 when they took separate ways.

  • wicked!

  • @Malvo052 He says Robbin, Rapin, Kidnappin, and Killin.

  • @funkateerkitty cheers and blessing to ya

  • @Malvo052 Blessings back atcha...

I just showed this vid to my X-hubby.

He always said he wanted to be a Reggae star when he grew up :)

  • deweypug my man I think that's the world renowned Joe Higgs standin to Marley's left... And I don't see Bunny anywhere in sight whoever says he's up there. Higgs was a the mentor/ teacher of the wailers as well as others like even Jimmy Cliff I think. I've heard Higgs called the father of reggae while Bob is the king

  • @jessemoynahan if this is in london, then yeah that's not bunny it's higgs. When they recorded all that stuff that eventually became 'talkin' blues' he elected not to come along. If you buy that album you can hear his backing vocals on 'get up stand up' and his voice is much deeper than bunny's.

  • Such a true song.. Wonder if there ever would come a new era, of great true artists like Bob and Peter again..

  • rudies all around

  • great song thanks bro

  • absolutely wicked thank you for posting

  • great

  • They are all great but I don't think bob should have used the wailers name after peter and bunny left...

  • Probably my most favorite Peter Tosh song of all time! It is cool to see Bob on the track.

  • this song is more relevant now than ever....im diggin it!

  • this song is more relevant now than ever....im diggin it!

  • Yes, man!

  • Yes man! Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh were the founding members of the wailers. Peter was a great guitarist and it was he who taught Bob to play it! Peter and Bunny left the Wailers in 1974!

  • Yes, man! Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh were the fourding members of the Wailers.Peter was a great guitarist. It was he who taught Bob to play it! Peter and Bunny left the Wailers in 1974.

  • so peter tosh is member of the wailers?

  • nah he just wrote the song and collaborated with marley sometimes

  • @caribbeangirl282 tnx for the info! :D

  • Of course, He was a guitarist

  • @dyingangelo he made part when they used to be called The Wailing Wailers, way before this, they didn't have dreads back then. Peter Tosh, Bob Marley And Bunny Wailer were the founding fathers of The Wailers

  • This song says it all...

  • FIRE!!!!!!!!

  • peter tosh man a real fire.....

  • you cant blame the YOUTH

  • it's sad that only two of the original Wailers still alive. Two were shot and one died of cancer (Bob)...

    Exuse my english

  • actually three were shot (that we know of) and one died of cancer. Two died of being shot.

  • Neville "Bunny" Livingston

    Earl "Wire" Lindo

    Robert "Bob" Marley

    Carlton "Carlie" Barrett

    Winston "Peter" McIntosh

    Aston "Family Man" Barrett

  • CARLTON IS THE BEST!!!!!

  • @aclarindo : Nesta Robert "Bob" Marley, His first name was Nesta :)

  • @RaphMusic06 Ya know...I may be called "Old" by the youth...

But...I was 15 during this video...

Which makes me Pretty Fukkin Cool to know what I do and To Have Seen What I have Seen :)

    Ya Feel me?

  • @funkateerkitty Overstood :)

  • @aclarindo Winston Hubert McIntosh

  • Can someone name all the members of the Wailers playing here? I see Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Aston "Family Man' Barrett, ? ? ?

  • history is written by the winners fuck history its hands are drenched in blood

  • They have lied & still lying about everything, trust in JAH

  • nice song

  • They constantly lie about Christopher Columbus in our schools. To make it seem as if he was a kind gentleman who discovered America. Lol

  • @RastafariPoet I've always seen him as some-one who stole land from native americans and enslaved many. Americans don't understand that unless they're actually of native decent, they're immigrants who can trace they blood line back to Europe. Not saying that in offense, just speaking truth. America as the western world knows it today only has 200 years of history. (I'm British btw if that makes any difference to my argument)

  • The first time Native-Americans and Europeans met was in Groenland when Inuits and Vikings arrived to this continent in the same period, long time before Colombus. This first contact was not negative, since the first problems came for the Inuits of Thulé when the US government built a military base in the area.

  • I get what your saying, as with any peoples of the earth. History is always going to take the sides of the conquers. When I read or was taught about these men I found that I was lied to by way of school miseducation.

  • @sketchywilliams Yeah...And so after Boutica (watch her history on UTube) burned the entire countryside & then Rome Anniliated ALL of her peoples...

    All that was left was...

The Roman Army & the neighboring countries they conquered for Soldiers...

So...You come from 2000 years on Your Island...

Have You Gotten it Right Yet?

Is Your country Founded on GOD like Ours?

No...No Other Country on this planet...

Ethiopia used to be like this. Only USA.

However the devil seems to have won 4 now.

  • @sketchywilliams YES I am 1st Generation American. But unlike you assumed...

I can trace my heritage all the way back to a bunch of maggot-eatin meat eatin German Aristocrats in Germany 1400's

The Dutch were wealthy also but it seems to end in N. Africa.

So...how would THAT even fukkin matter to the price of the Tea in China?

Who Cares where U R From!

    It's What Kind of a Human R U?!

I don't remember pickin my heritage...

But I'm Not discountin the possibility.

I deal wit the cards I got.

  • @RastafariPoet Really? :/ they don't in my school (:

  • @RastafariPoet Right, when we all know that the Wailers discovered America with these insanely tight jams and beautiful melodies...

  • @deweypug

    You said it, I didnt.

  • @RastafariPoet Sad thing...

The Vikings didn't "seem" to Demolish the ENTIRE Countryside...

    Until Mr. Cristobal Colon...(Columbus)

Who was probably wooing The Spanish Queen to get her to fund his "Enterprise"

I find it Curious how God let most of "Known Civilization"

stay in the Dark & not find the Western Hemisphere until almost the beginning of the 1500's!

And Just Look what The Europeans Have Done to The Neighborhood!

    No...for Real...They are Babylon.

I am Not of That Tribe.

    One Love

  • @RastafariPoet Only a trusted source for information should be trusted concerning Columbus. He was probably more ignorant in his bad deeds than anything else

  • @RastafariPoet

It's disgusting. Today is Columbus Day in the US, and Thanksgiving Day in Canada. How we celebrate the genocides of entire groups of people still today is insane.

  • @RastafariPoet This shows how dumb americans are, because right after they teach you to believe that, the next chapter is about "indians". when chris was supposed to have discovered america, alot of people dont even use the common sense to think.. hey, this dosnt make a bit of sense. same with slavery, europeans migrated to the US up until the late 1800's blacks arrive around the 1600's... If you just pay attention, history explains itself better than any teacher i've had...

  • tellin it like it is

  • love the song and peters hat :-)

  • I just stared at the 0-1-2 repetition for 4mn , but this is really good music.

  • The lyrics of this song remember me why I was revolted against school.Because in
