I'm not sure I agree. Of course, some people (weaned on Big Brother and Jersey Shore) might find his intellectual talk "boring," but many would listen and love what he has to say. Otherwise, how can you explain his immense popularity? His books are often bestsellers, all his appearances at universities are sold out, and he has been called "the most important intellectual alive."

Chomsky is not a scientific minded man. He rambles on about all the evidence that supports his theory of the world. A man of Science cannot ignore all the evidence that is contrary to his theory. Chomsky always ignores or dismisses any truth that doesn't fit his theory.

All this means is that Chomsky theories are wrong or there are many contradictory parallel theories that are equally correct.

Chomsky is far from negative, he just tells the truth, whether you like it or not that's too bad. Maybe that seems negative because it goes contrary to most of what you are told, but id rather know the truth.

Divide and conquer, keep people ignorant and rule... I am sorry there is little any outsider can do unless they want to get bombed, the help has to come from the inside. Hang on capitol hill, (like they did in Italy with Mussolini), a couple of those warmongers, liars, plunderers of the people's money, education and information and maybe the'll think twice before doing it again. that's what I saw in John Wayne's movies.

False. Chomsky has plenty of solutions for America's problems. It's just that people don't want to listen to them. That's not his fault. But you have to identify a problem before you can move on to a solution. And if people in the mainstream don't acknowledge the problems, Chomsky has to keep harping on them.

Chomsky relentlessly negative? How about this: the relentless negativity is a function of the truth of the contemporary situation. In a nation obessessively working to obscure the reality of its foreign policy, telling the truth from a moral perspective can seem like negativity. In fact, Chomsky's analyses are often some of the only positive anlayses being put forth.
