Kpop idol groups are copies of Jpop idol groups. The first Kpop boy group was H.O.T in 1992, but in Japan there was Johnny's in 1962. For girls groups Kpop's first girls group was S.E.S. in 1997 but in Japan there was Onyanko Club in 1985.
I like K-pop male artists better :\ Their voices are richer, more vibrato and not as nasally. And they dance better as well... Just my opinion... But this is my first time seeing w-inds and they're great! I'll be sure to check them out more :) Thanks to the uploader for introducing me to a great group :)

I like K-pop male artists better :\ Their voices are richer, more vibrato and not as nasally. And they dance better as well... Just my opinion... @Automatonist terms of singing ability as well as dancing as well as charisma on stage kpop artists are better even by some japanese music experts at least bcoz of their extensive training periods if their ability to compose their own music is relatively more limited. so maybe a bit more variety and some originality and a little less commercialization as a whole but talent/quality of music per se/dance/fashion and even individuality a big win for korea
