'Nole and Gators fan know that The U is the best school in the South not just Florida the last 25 yrs. 5 National Titles compared to 2 for FSU and 2 for UF.
Miami may have had its bumps in the road but Miami owns the 'Noles and the Gators! Think about it.
Get 15 conference titles total, start a season at #1 and stay #1 with an undefeated season, stay in the top 5 rankings with 14 consecutive 10+ win seasons, go 32 years in a row with winning seasons, play and win as many bowl games and put over 150 players in a 20 year span in the NFL.....then you'll be as good as FSU. It doesnt matter. We have Christan Ponder and D'Vontrey Richardson. Both were the top 2 Dual Threat Qb's when we recruited them. IMO, Ponder did very well against a strong VT team considering he never took a snap in a college football game before then. Both of these guys are much better then Weatherford and Lee.
um vt is in the coastal part of the acc not much competion and they have never beat the attlantic and we beat bc at bc and you couldnt even beat them at home fsu has to let a team win eventually after beating sixteen straight

Not this season unfortunatly. With Boston College, Virginia Tech and Florida still ahead of us we may end up with another 6-6 or 5-7 season. Depending on the Miami game, we may not even make a bowl game this year. But now we have Chuck Amato back, we will get some great recruiting done. Noles will be hunting a national title in about 3 to 4 years.
i don't think the recruiting will pick up until bowden steps aside. i am a hard core fsu fan but athletes see is base offense and until he learns to utilize his talent like florida and those other schools they will continue to lose top recruits

It doesnt matter. We have Christan Ponder and D'Vontrey Richardson. Both were the top 2 Dual Threat Qb's when we recruited them. IMO, Ponder did very well against a strong VT team considering he never took a snap in a college football game before then. Both of these guys are much better then Weatherford and Lee.

first of all Xavier can not scramble better than fuckin tyrod. remember 3rd and 31 yep tyrod ran for 38. glenonn got hit hard but it was nothing like drew weatherfords hit. drew had a concussion and glennon was just shaken up. maybe if xavier could keep his grades up he could of played but it wouldnt of mattered anyways. chokie thats funny while VT is the hunt for the ACC championship FSU is just trying to get a decent bowl game

ok back in 2004 he was ranked #1 when he was recriuted. But he hasnt show done anything brilliant for florida state. Tyrod has and its only been his first year. tyrod can scramble better and throw better than xavier lee. heres a quick note every game tyrod has started VT has won and every game he has played in he has scored a touchdown. its like a walk in the park for tyrod he feels no pressure but xavier does. xavier blew the wake forest game. GOOD luck getting to a good bowl game.

FSU's quarterbacks are better than VT's. Weatherford had two games with 300+ passing yards, 3 touchdowns, no picks. Glennon blows and Lee can scramble better than Taylor. Not this season unfortunatly. With Boston College, Virginia Tech and Florida still ahead of us we may end up with another 6-6 or 5-7 season. Depending on the Miami game, we may not even make a bowl game this year. But now we have Chuck Amato back, we will get some great recruiting done. Noles will be hunting a national title in about 3 to 4 years.

i don't think the recruiting will pick up until bowden steps aside. i am a hard core fsu fan but athletes see is base offense and until he learns to utilize his talent like florida and those other schools they will continue to lose top recruits

I don't see FSU going 5-7. We should beat Maryland and Duke. Should have been a certain 7-5 if it wasn't for the Miami loss. I think we'll beat V.Tech like we did in the 2005 ACC Championship.

In light of the BC game, we will probably end up with a 8 win season if we play VT with the same hunger to win. Maryland is a definite win. Florida however may put it on us. But its a rivalry game so you can never know. Anything can happen in rivalry games. The Miami game was a fluke. FSU beat themselves that game.
