The evidence cannot truely say a date unless it has genealogical records or calenders or even a king's name or event that we know the approximate date. It's impossible to determine what the oldest cities are. Jericho, at only 8,000 years old, is significantly younger than Damascus, at 12,000 years old. That's significantly newer (from a civilization perspective) than some cities in Yemen and South Arabia.
I think the world just has periods of near total destruction. After a few thousand years, a new civilization makes something. I find it hard to believe millions of years went by without Humans making cities.

The evidence cannot truely say a date unless it has genealogical records or calenders or even a king's name or event that we know the approximate date. About evolution: The oldest fossils for any creature are already fully-formed and don’t change much over time. The “Cambrian Explosion” in the “primordial strata” documents the geologically rapid appearance of most major groups of complex animals. There is no evidence of evolution from simpler forms.

It's impossible to determine what the oldest cities are. Jericho, at only 8,000 years old, is significantly younger than Damascus, at 12,000 years old. That's significantly newer (from a civilization perspective) than some cities in Yemen and South Arabia.
I think the world just has periods of near total destruction. After a few thousand years, a new civilization makes something. I find it hard to believe millions of years went by without Humans making cities.

The Big Bang theory doesn't need a Creator of any sort, only your mind does & if you understood basic chemistry & some simple and basic physics, you would understand how wrong you are. Look into some more advanced physics, & you soon realize that the universe around & within us is a LOT more amazing than any current religion could ever begin to touch.

You need more than that to comprehend how atoms fuse, and "strong" and "weak" nuclear forces were not covered in any of my basic undergrad classes.

@CommissarPravda I've read the Bible many times, & I would suggest you look into the Council of Nicaea, the Synod of Hippo & other biblical histories, where you might learn that the Bible was fabricated by man for political reasons (As seen by all the gospels that were NOT included) & NOT written, or even inspired by god. I would also suggest that you look at other, various resources proving that modern man has been around for over 250,000+ years and the Bible has only been around for 1661 yrs

This is the biggest mistake of arcaeologists and scientists in general; labeling something as a definitive final conclusion leaving them nothing more to look for. Please, please, PLEASE... stop finalizing the discoveries with labels such as "The Oldest" and add a YET... "The Oldest Yet Discovered" leaving the door open to continue finding more amazing finds.
