  • hehe! I guess, his Neighbors are not extremly satisfied with this very special instrument! And, by the way, I've never heard any bagpipe out of Scotland!

    ...But he playes very fine!!

  • excelent!

    Keep up the good work..

i really have a thing for bagpipes, but my art is the violin!

  • de cual marca son esas gaitas?

  • Esta gaita que todavia tengo es una de marca Dunbar, que compre desde Canada. Son muy buenas gaitas y muy resistentes!

  • great job

  • Gracias Senor. Estas muy excellente..Muchos Gracias. Being Scottish I appreciate your playing the fine instrument and playing it well.

  • Mui bueno!!Nosotros portugueses e espanholes tenemos sangre celta!!Bravo!!!

  • Sounds great to me! Play another one!

Btw, how can you tell when a bagpipe is out of tune? : )

  • Sure:

When you have the drones or a note out of tune, it has a "beating" noise, something like the pitch going up and down. I think I'll record this tune again soon as I'm playing it much better know. Thank you for your comments!

  • Fair enough. I kind of had the idea that there it would be a way. Although, i was being cheeky... someone who doesn't listen to bagpipes all that often, wouldn't know a lot of the tunes either, therefore, he/she wouldn't be able to tell when a note (or a few), go into the basket (wrong note/s).

    Thanks for your explanation!

Oh, btw, I bet you have tried to play or can play the chilean national anthem on your bagpipe : )
