  • oops posted this from my Omnia didn't mean to post it 3 times.

  • I had to ditch the omnia for a HTC TOUCH PRO because of emailing and texting is impossible. In the end touch screen phones no matter how good they are.... dont text well

  • I installed the swype keyboard from the Omnia 2 onto the O!. Not only can I type faster that ever before I can also be more accurate. I also use a cooked rom (Blazingwolfs WM7) so its nothing like it was out of the box. My next phone might be the Android Passion if verizon takes it on. Android is still in its infancy compared to WM though but it looks like it will be the new domnant Mobile OS.

  • I thought the same thing but the battery is closer to the top and the heat is coming from the bottom where the wifi and processor is located. I have had a Omnia since it came out and use wifi all the time. it has gotten so hot you can cook eggs on it. so far it had never failed on me.

  • Thats very interesting. I have the i910 from Verizon. When using WMwifirouther the phone gets extremely hot exactly as indicated in this video. Had no idea that it actually got that hot though. Now when I use wifi I take the battery cover off and set it somewhere cool so its doesn't overheat and break down.

  • @jaycarltheone I was thinking it was the battery... go figure
