People still fight over if minecraft, or terraria are better? Minecraft necessarily copied terraria (a little) bosses potions etc. but they went in to entirely different directions(terraria: combat, mining and battling, Minecraft: building, crafting, and adventuring) Two great games with a lot in common but soooo different, and unique in their own way.

minecraft only has one boss, and it ends the fucking game. terraria has about roughly 8-10 and the game never "ends"

terraria offers you equipment that lets you breath underwater, cast spells, survive in lava, etc. what does minecraft have? enchantments, that's all. terraria is sci-fi/survival, it has guns and rocket boots. minecraft? arrows and a bow

they're not the same, but they do have similarities, like sr3 and gta4 for example

i love the hell out of both games, but also see where they both differ from one another.

minecraft definitely has the advantage since it's three dimensional, but terraria makes up for it with additional content.

credits don't involve a dialog between two 'things" you've never seen in the game until it ends. the "things" tell you to wake up, that's the end.

it's not the first game to be open-ended. fable, spiderman, and countless others have an ending, but let you play around with the world after the credits are over. what do you call those? minecraft has an ending

Remember Crysis? That game's gameplay is so generic (Except for destruction) but it's visuals for that time period makes up for everything.
