I must say i personally like Shadows Collide With People (cuz it reminds me when i was learning the guitar tabs hearing the same song again and again to find'em), The Empyrean (cuz it's pure music), Curtains and The Will to Death.

He's truly been my only inspiration for years so i've learn to play the kind of music he plays, and sing a way that looks like the way he sings (I'm not saying that i can sing as well as he does ; I sure cannot :))

@vironfletcher I disagree. His backup vocals are perfect behind Anthony Kiedis. Absolutely perfect. Also, Anthony's voice has a better timbre for most of the songs they do, and he also writes songs that characterize their style; immediate, carefree emotion and total abandon for worry. John's songs and vocal style are totally different animals, based on passion and longing. He added valuable vocal undercurrents to the Peppers that I'm really going to miss. Still have his solo stuff, though!
