  • i like your video pretty awesome =)) keep it up

  • Great music

  • Is that Drosera Binata in the background?

  • Man this is a great timelapse. Im trying with my venus flytrap and failing mizerably.

    :^(

  • nice, but you changed often the position of the camera, that's not good

  • watch out for bats. they like to sleep in them.(seriously)

  • I would like to know how you got the pitcher to develop I have a white rafflesiana which have several pitcher on the my mother plant. But the red version OMG, what a challenge. It doesn't do a darn thing. the leaves are also different not as dense as the white verity . Any advice would be great appreciated.

I'm new to the hobby myself, so this may not help at all. I do know that pitchers do not form if the plant gets enough nutrient from the ground. Don't fertilize the plants soil. Also, try a humidifier or careful misting to increase the humidity. :) Hope this helps.

  • A wild victreebel appears

  • music matches

    XD

  • Whitch camara/programm did you use?

  • Hahah. 0:31-0:50 your Drosera rolls out again. Nice Species, your nepenthes btw.

    How old is it?

  • that is great, love when it opens, thank you!

  • Wow, what have you used to do this?

You didn´t take one photo every day, did you?

  • @Saphirasfly

I used a camcorder to take a picture every 15 minutes. I couldn't use a longer time interval because my camcorder is shit :(

  • @dosinski1337 how much time it took to shot full video? I'm planning to do so for my N. but i'm scared abt how much time would be needed.

  • @PzSniper

It took a full 5 weeks. As i'm sure ur well aware, carnivorous plants are slow growers. Rafflesiana is relatively fast, but my plant was impeded by low humidity.

  • Great video 5/5

*You can see your Sundew growing in the back hehe!*

  • Hello....i speak little english...

whats the names o f the sing?

  • The song is Everyday by Carly Comando

  • @dosinski1337 The song is so played off in time lapse videos btw... couldnt you think of something else?! Nice vid otherwise.

  • I love this particular pitcher plant because its shape is different from all others.

I'm on my third try with this one as well.

The past two summers squirrels would dig them up. This year I build a better mouse trap. Now both my red and green are doing great.

    Kyddoe.

  • nepenthes' pitchers take forever to grow and they die within a month... :(

  • It is unfortunate. Although out of my collection, only Nepenthes 'Miranda' and Nepenthes Caesar have short lived pitchers. Ampullaria and Rafflesiana pitchers usually last 5 months.

  • actually some pitcher can last up for a year i got that from Sarracenia northwest

  • I have some that are several months old and doing fine. N. lowii pitchers can last over a year.

  • very nice! A perfect demonstration of how slow generally neps are compared to other cp's. The sundew at the back has made around 3 leaves by the time the nep opened its pitcher.
