I'm actually Catholic but was never much of a churchgoer, just born into a Catholic family, although never been really interested in any of it, just a cultural thing and my family are not exactly " strict " Catholics..

1) downfalls of religion credibility instead of faith & true relation with Jesus = BIG confusion & doubt.

3) lack of the word of scripture (pray the psalms); fellowship with repentant believers

Yeah it can be confusing, especially with all the different denominations are claiming to be correct. We will spend ETERNITY discovering His greatness and gaining new understandings!!! Scripture is a divine tool to get insight to know God, but the decision to have real relation with Him rests squarely in your own heart by whatever grace He's given you in the Holy Spirit.

@lastdaysguitar Thank you so much, i have a GNB Bible at home, and even though i've not found a strong solid faith yet, i do find it relaxing just to pick it up and read through some of the scripture such as the words of Jesus in Matthew for example, it sooths my anxiety but then my doubt kicks in thinking " nah what if this is pointless and Gods not real " Do you think the calming feeling i get when reading it is a sign of Gods power ? even though i doubt ? I've only read a small bit so far
@justmyselfatalltimes Yes, calming and assurance is God's power - every good gift comes from above. Faith is a journey my friend, one step at a time, at times through some dry valleys... but it is worth every step, becuase He alone is worthy of all your worship, adoration, and praise.
Know too that Satan seeks to block & distract with lies at every step, but he will be powerless against you when you are in Christ. Jesus is beckoning you straight ahead - ignore the lies from the sidelines.

One of my friends is atheist and says its all Placebo effect but i'm thinking there must be more.

I'm old enough to clearly remember when ALL atheists claimed erroneously "the universe was eternal" & calling it science, in spite of breaking the 2nd law of entropy! It wasn't until late 70's (I was in college at the time this started to happen) they had to grudgingly accept the universe had a point of origon, though this was clearly explained in the very first words of the bible: "In the beginning, God...".

I'm no good in a confrontation, i was punched in the face only two months ago and just took it because i froze up in fear

I was a famous martial artist in70's-90's, my videos are still worlds best selling on Judo, but I walked away from it when God claimed me for the real battle: I assure you there is no shame in being bullied, only in bullying. You don't want to miss this - by honoring your earthly father, you bring honor to God.

I believe the bible, every word - because He has revealed Himself in my life. @justmyselfatalltimes A majority of those who struggle with faith have in fact been dissappointed & hurt by their earthly fathers - again, this is Satan's divisive work against a powerful & pre-ordained relationship, so to honor God best, do not hold any blame against your father - but extend him grace & forgiveness from the loving Father of both of you - the ONE who has blessings and thoughts of you every second.
The role of fatherhood is critical - I am a dad and a grandpa.

I will contact my dad, unfortunetly today i cannot as i have a mobile phone which is out of credit but its something to look into doing this coming week! maybe a goal to look to. It will be difficult as hes a very hostile person at times and patronizing

@justmyselfatalltimes PS: I too had a time when my dad and I didn't speak for about a year or so because of a stupid arguement, I'm very glad I followed God's word to honor my father and broke that, taking his blame upon myself - because shortly afterwards he got sick with cancer and died, yet I was in good relationship with him at this time to be able to pray with him at the hospitol bedside as he passed. You don't want to miss this - by honoring your earthly father, you bring honor to God.

@justmyselfatalltimes That there are many gods in many religions is more a sign of the abysmal condition of fallen man than it is an indictment against the existance of the God described in the Holy Bible. I believe the bible, every word - because He has revealed Himself in my life. This is something I cannot do for you: I can only encourage you it IS true, and that I know this, and have committed my very life to it because I too took the long road to get here, then God's power captured me.

@justmyselfatalltimes One other thing my friend: stop owning doubt. i.e.: It is not "my doubt" at all - that doubt is a weed of a lie planted by Satan in your mind, it needs to be rooted out and discarded, not owned. You have been given the power and authority to do this in the name of Christ Jesus, in His name above all names - you are made more than a conquerer.
Expect the best from God, because you ARE destined for great things ahead.

i love the pink floyd like sound. and the words are great. the drift in time like feel to the music just puts off a peaceful ticking progression of thouight and spiritual relaxation. A must keep .
and as usual the video is a message sender and well done. it seems you have been very busy lately. production of this quality and material injection take a lot of time and decission wracking demands on the brain, which uses 90% of our energy anyway. much love and respect.
