Nah, ppl will have diff opinions about the storyline but they are all welcome. I did it though because in the actual series Shen can grant wishes but his powers are always limited as to what he can do, so I put a limit on the wish.
The hours thing is there because I plan to have it catch up to Goku later on in the series. I didn't add it in the preview but when it comes to the scene where you see Goku looking around you'll see in the lower left corner "0 hours" as to how many hours has passed.
I wanted to do that as that would of gave a more stronger "evil" feel, but when doing recolors in photoshop you can't mess with anything thats the same color...so if I changed his eyes his clothes wouldn't be black anymore.
Evil doesn't really mean physical visible changes anyway, it just means a darker personality instead of it being good...but since this is a sprite movie I have to make it seems like he's evil too though so yeah.
Yea, another reason why I'm probably leaving youtube. I can't record with CamStudios because it still lags (my computer sucks) and Moyea won't keep it from lagging...unless there are settings on Moyea that I don't know about.
Since the camera isn't close up on him you wouldn't see his eyes move anyway (or at least barely). I would have to actually tilt his head up and I cant do that, just for him looking up to be noticeable.
Naruto, the comment part of any video is for constructively commenting the actual video...not making smart ass comments. Regardless of what I did to his clothes you know what the change of his clothes was signifying.
If you can tell me how I'm suppose to make him look more "evil" then that would be better, but since you didn't then comments like this are not necessary.

Dan-Sun who does Power Star didn't even do any recolor on Mario, he just added a bunch of effects that made him look evil. If I do decide to do that I'll have to recolor the sprites again, import it into Flash and make symbols and Movie clips for the poses all over again.
idk know if the sprite has more poses of pilaf cause I wanted him to move some like his hands go up and to wish something. I srsly don't like recolors but this recolor it's just awesome. but this episode is going well. so go on.
Yeah...I had limited Pilaf, Mai, and Shuu sprites so not much movement could be made. I could of either let them stand there or move their hand up and down, and I didn't want to overuse the hand raise sprite.
I don't like the fact that someone on youtube (not you) just basically downed the whole theme of my movie by putting down the recolor. I'm starting to think wth Newgrounds will do to my vid...
Of course l8r in THIS episode, I will have effects like his eyes glowing red though so yeah.
Anyway, thx for the comments...you guys on youtube might not get to see this though as the CR thing here is getting out of hand, and I'm not risking getting sued by a copyright owner and then my Youtube acc getting terminated...so the full might end up just on Newgrounds.
Yea, they are pretty harsh but it's only if you make errors or if it's not eye catchy. They are hard on the "no story" sprite movies which is why I had to stop doing those random sprite fights, my Vegetto vs Buu scored 3.25 while my submission b4 that scored 3.72 so I know something went wrong lol.
Regardless if you just make it look good and check for all errors (or at least the big ones) then you should be fine on Newgrounds.
Nah it doesn't have to be perfect, but you just don't want to throw anything onto anywhere and think it's suppose to be good because you worked "hard" on it.
They do give you breaks every now and then but if they don't start to see improvement in your work then they will lower your scores. It does get tiresome seeing the same thing over and over with no improvement.
I criticize myself so I would know, but regardless you should want to get better and be like AEarth or YuuMon, or close.

well you wouldn't have to use pilaf rasing his hands. but you can atleast move his eyes that he is looking above.
