I had this surgery and its really pain full after u can't do any thing unless u have help yes its pricey but if u have insurance it will cover every thing u have to use a walker are first then crutches if u don't get this done there are huge risks like severe arthritis to were u cNt walk any more it take 3 months or more to hell depending on how severe your case is for me it takes 2 years I'm still helling I'm also 13
am apoor person but i would really love to b operated,,am in my end 20s but i have no self esteem,,and am always sad that i look like this,,cud any body sponsor me for the operation.
heres my question...What happens l8er on in life if u never fix this problem im bolegged but to lazy to fix it and 2 poor and yea im not scared of death but i am scared of pain o.o
Thanks for asking - you should contact local orthopaedic clinic/surgeon to get consultation. But with time it may involve pain, discomfort while training or walking, and the knee joints worn out faster than if there are no such condition. This is very plain explanation, hope this helps to understand better.
I'm considering doing this operation, but I'd like to know how painful the recovery is,and after how long can I walk (at ease to go back to work) with the apparatus on.
My main concern is being a female, osteoporosis might set in and then I'll be in real trouble.
Thanks for the videos! My family has this problem. Lately I have been noticing that my inner ankles, in a "normal/relaxed" position, are pointing down, to the floor, and thus my feet are migrating to a not so normal position (moving outwards). If I contract my legs muscles it all looks more normal, but that is not how I stand normally.
Estimately, how much is the cost?i live in Canada, and based on you website the clinic is in Ukraine..Is this device used by canadian orthopedics nowadays?
is there a place in ohio where i can go and how much does it cost. also can i do regular activities like swim and tennis, etc. after surgery? and what is the age limit for it cause some people told me you had to be a todler to do it.
Please visit our official website to know more about bow legs correction. You cannot do the operation in Ohio the way we do it, the surgery is done in less intrusive way. You will swim, tennis, etc the way you used to before the operation. Of course some time should pass for that - recovery and rehab need some time.
The liquid on legs is the iodine, and for numbing we used epidural anesthesia. The patient does not feel the pain next 4 hours after surgery. Thanks for asking.

@dwevol
Recovery is not painful, in 1.5 months you
can start walking.
It's a routine procedure, many patients changed
the curve legs to straight legs and correct
alignment.Visit official web site for more details&
Thanks for asking.

Causes of bow leggedness can be different, but training and sitting in lotus position cannot cause it for sure.

Proper intake of vitamin D while growing and this won't happen :P
DJPeroxis 2 years ago
Well, not always the case.
It can be genetics, too and other factors.
Ladisten 2 years ago
genes are a big part of it.
