  • It's very nice

  • Yes, it does exist, and it's called heaven.

  • I can't explain how people can dislike this amazing part of film with this sound...

  • 24 people listen florin salam :))

thanks man for this beautiful song

  • Any clue how to replicate something like this on the violin? Its hard, but im trying anyways. :/

  • Amazing music!.....music that brings peace to my heart.......<3

  • I feel this song would have made a significant contribution to the Trilogy. I would have used it.

  • Some people who dislike this dont know what true beauty really is....

  • Yup.. Middle-Earth is true! In my heart!

  • 24 people got shot at or killed by elves

  • I thought this song was so beautiful, I had to put romantic lyrics to it. Please let me know what you think. Sorry the formatting won't work. It is part 1 and Part 2. You have my heart, You are my soul My every thought And every goal My all revolves around you You give me all that I need How could a love be so true? How could it be so complete? I hold you close, I never fear, There’ll come a time, When you aren’t here.

  • Dreaming.....

  • These little buggers ran everywhere! I'm sure they would kick ass in a marathon. I suppose that's why everyone in LOTR are so skinny-all that running/climbing rocks away from Sauron and what not is better than an home workout video. Sigh...I wish I had my own Sauron to motivate my lazy ass...

  • it makes me cryin

  • I have dreamed about these places all my life.

    The music is definitely fitting.

  • this isnt the right song!!! I am searching for the epic one

  • The place of life

  • If you'd like to play it on piano:

    Bbm Fm Bbm Fm

    Db Eb Ab

    Db Eb Bb

    Db Eb Ab

    Db Eb Fm

    Have a beautiful day.

  • Is that the right music?

  • 23 people are orcs!

  • I so want to live in Lothlorien. Especially if it has this sort of music playing.

  • @TolkienOtaku Don´t live in phantasies! You decide how your world would be!

  • @mutterfisch lol what what?

  • @TolkienOtaku Keep in mind that Tolkien didn't consider anything he wrote as fiction or fantasy. He once said he was, "Given things…already there, somewhere."

  • 22 people disliked this??....Unbelievable.

I can't put to words how grateful I am for this incredibly perfect and beautiful video. =) I've loved this Enya song all my life, and then in recent years, discovered Lord of the Rings. And I was just thinking the other day that I hope there's a video of the scenes from Lothlorien put to the Enya song...yay <3 ^_^ <3

  • If anyone loved the books of Tolkien, as I did, I heartily recommend another series: The Wheel of Time, by the late Robert Jordan.

  • @foamulator I agree, but people should be warned not to read the Wheel of Time books if they don't like getting sucked into another world and losing days at a time reading till their eyes burn; then sleeping; then reading some more!!!

  • @joemck74 LOL.....I know what you mean! It has been a LONG LONG effort.

  • @joemck74 Oh I know! At one point my brain would actually shut off to my surroundings. People would be talking to me while I was reading and I wouldn't know it until they smack me upside the head saying "what's wrong with you" because I did not hear a word they said!

  • :) All right! Finally found some decent people. Haha. I know. I've read nearly every all of JRR Tolkien's books...

  • I wish they had used this theme in the movie. It would have been a very positive contribution to the films.

  • @foamulator They could have made a new version. But notice how all LotR music is "ethnic": its composed, played and sung by certain Middle-Earth cultures to their own sounds, styles and instruments. Outside music wouldn't have fitted in without being adapted into some cultural style, in this case Lothlorien Elven style.

  • Yes!!!

  • nice choice with enya :)

  • beautiful like the elvish signs of the zodiac, search for petra maria scheid on amazon - fairy tales

  • Ez annyira szép ,hogy ez a zene volt a bevonuló zeném az esküvőmön...

  • Lothlorien from Lord of the Rings is another Song !

This Song is from Enya's 1991 Album Sheherd Moons !

  • Cate Blanchett has a very unique but beautiful face - no wonder she got the role as Galadriel.. She does look like an elf!

  • Wish it would excist for real:( Rivindell would be my home then!

  • @Jumpstylgirl18 It does exist it exists in all of us its the child inside all people the wish for peace and a safe home I have the best of middle earth being born Irish and yet lived most of my life in the south island new Zealand (middle earth) the hobbit is now under way filming is all out side now so the world will yet again see the sites from the lord of the rings have seen the trailers for the hobbit its the lord of the rings PLUS enjoy

  • Cate Blanchett, especially as Galadriel, is soooo beautiful!

  • @maiii0608 Enya wrote incidental music for the film, not this piece though.

She should have been in the film as one of the elves.

  • @bookkeeper57 I would have preferred Loreena McKennitt

  • settlers 5 music

  • beautiful music from enya like always!

  • Just amazing Video .

  • I love this :)

  • LotR: best book to read in the woods!

  • New Zealand is a dreamland!

  • this isn't Lotr music, since when used howard shore piano for LotR?

  • C'est magnifique tout simplement .

  • I wanna move to New Zealand now.

  • @arenaskies If you haven't been... go! It is simply splendid down there.

  • I would like to live in the Elven city of Gondolin; that is, before is was completely destroyed by Melkor's armies, balrogs, and dragons.

  • One the best scenes from the best trilogy ever..

  • name of the music, pls.

  • Yes they are, but in the extended version. If you are a LOTR fan you have to see the extended version. Peace

  • @johanrutgeerts The Extended versions were freakin' EPIC... Well, both versions were obviously but since the Ext. version was longer, it crammed more EPIC-ness into it. LOL LONG LIVE LOTR!!! XD

  • Wow. this is Wonderdul. How did you do this? All those scenes weren't in the movies, were they?

Like over the lake and the elevator-like things.

  • Enya ,a woman of great persception and talent and inspires such peace and tranquility through her musical genius.

  • Enya! Love her!

  • light rain - freshly wet grass - warm day - flowerbuds - tears and gentle happiness - magical feelinng that brings goosebumps - peacefulness - widsom

  • I have loved this music for years, it never gets old, beautiful beyond words!!!

  • yeah it kinda deos when you think about it it kinda sounds like the sea sounding powerful but yet so full of peace.

  • B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L-L... Sounds like the sea, to me... So powerful and yet... so calming and peaceful :) Thank you so much for this ... wonderful song and video ^^

  • Soooo beautiful!!! *-*

  • Such a remarkable piece. If this song was art, it would be a beauty worth exposing for the world to see.

The tone of this masterpiece is like being put in a dreamlike setting. It also resembles a sun setting as the night sky is about to show up.

    So beautiful.

  • i always think its somebody playing a peaceful song in front of a bunch of people.

  • everytime i hear this song i think of luthien dancing to beren in the silmarillion

  • WOW, such an amazing song. <3

Listened to it a million times, still getting better.

  • No, Galadriel is Cate Blanchett.

    Amazing video! :)

  • I can't believe the actress for Lady Galadriel is a human! She's really beautiful, with a peaceful, calm sort of look.

  • lady galadriel is kate winslet

  • The forest where they shot it, looks exactly like one in my home town. :)

  • You are so lucky!! If there was forest like Lothlorien near my house, I would not leave it for even one second!!

  • Such a beautiful Video.

  • Enya - Lothlorien

  • @LadyTimTam the song is Lothlorien by Enya, its the title of the vid lol

  • Lothlorien by Enya :)

  • the name is Lothlorien and it is from Enya

  • Wow. HAha this fits very well

  • It's a very very beautiful song!!

    I love it!!

  • I have this song on my iPod and when it was playing in my car, EVERYBODY in the car went silent and some were even crying!! I asked what was wrong and they said that this song is so depressing.

I think it's beautiful to be honest!

  • This is beautiful video. It's like watching a dream. Thanx for posting this.

  • lotr is the best!

  • es bonito, pero esta mejor la banda sonora original de la peli

  • Stunning! You did a truly beautiful job on this. It captures the beauty, light and purity of the Elven Wood. And the music brings to mind and heart, the goodness and love of the Fellowship. A favorite. God bless.

  • I love Lothlorien! I wish I could live there...

  • @SecretCloak

    Yeah, me to:)

  • same here..

  • @SecretCloak Oh i'd love to live there!Or in Rivendell,that's beautiful too!

  • @Amberlovey New Zealand is very close to it. Immense beauty!

  • @Amberlovey

    Move to New-Zealand! ;)

  • @Amberlovey yeah but just imagine to live in Gondolin before the fall.

  • @Hebertsfelden Wow. You read the other books too? Cool. Most people I've met have only read Lord of the Rings. :) I'm sure it was as beautiful. ;)

  • @Asrathiel98 A lot of people have! It is magical! If you think the elves in LotR are amazing...try the Silmarillion...seriously!

  • @Hebertsfelden It's long & pedantic. Only a true believer in middle earth before time can dwell on this book. My copy is over 20 years but right now I'm having a time finding it. If you believe, by all means read the Silmarillion. Another good place to understand the LOTR is the appindices printed in the back of LOTR. The last to leave middle earth was Legolas and one of the dwarves. This was 1500 years after Return of the King. The last of the Fellowship left for the West Havens.\

  • @aellarex Dont worry I read those too. A history of Middle Earth is also great. I just pointed out that it is good to read everything there is to read about middle earth. I think it is much more fun to see the whole picture (hope my english is not too bad).

  • @Hebertsfelden Or Tirion, while the Trees were still lived.

  • @Amberlovey me too!

  • @Amberlovey If I ever should get my hands on millions of dollars, I would try to build Rivendell and Lothlorien, complete with waterfall, lake and swanship!!!

  • You are right

  • preciosa musica la que hace enya...

lleva los sentidos a otro lugar apartado de todo...

  • wat does Lothlorien means

  • the woods where the queen of the elfes live (Galadriel)

  • ic...^^

  • actually it means Flower of the Lórien in elvish.

  • golden wood i think

  • magic and beautiful :-)

  • But it's still a great song and video

  • This song is nowhere in the lord of the rings.

  • It is on the soundtrack I think. It was inspired by Tolkien's world, even if it was never used in the films.

Beautiful song/video! LOTR & Enya ftw!

  • nope, I have all three of them in my hand and it's not on any of them. This song was made way before the lord of the rings trilogy. The only songs Enya contributed to the lord of the rings soundtracks was (May it be) and (Aniron).

  • Sorry, my mistake. Even if it's not on the soundtrack/movie it's still a beautiful song! :)

  • Yes it certainly is.

  • wow LOVE this video!

  • I agree 100%.

  • Wow whats that songs name? o,o'

  • the name of the song is lothlorien by enya ;)

  • Bloody briliant! I love how peaceful Tolkien depicts the Elves. I wish they were real!

  • Very classy edit. Well done.

  • I wish I could live in Lothlorien ;_;

  • Eden; it is written, will return again one day.

  • it is written WHERE???

Please document your source- youtube values academic/literary integrity

  • "WHERE???"

    read...

    Isaiah chapter 11

    Isaiah chapter 35

    Ezekiel chapter 34

    Hosea chapter 2

    and that's just a start.

    "seek and you shall find".

    Peace.

  • I didnt say it WASNT written... It just makes your point better if you cite your source thus those who want to find can seek a little easier

  • So what it comes down to is that youre upset because you didn't want to do your own homework?

People cite because it give legitimacy to the testament or statement, i.e. to give it basis.

That is separate from citing to making it easier for others to seek, b\c one can seek multiple approaches, and still be right.

So, I simply thought you called me out to be completely making it up.

    Peace.

  • I did make the point because it gives credibility to your statement. Though many DO wish to find these statements and have no idea where to start looking.

I myself an a theology major and have grown accustomed to telling people to cite where they found the verses because it makes them appear credible.

Also, you won't BELIEVE how many people claim the bible or other holy books state things which they do not.... such as "God helps those who help themselves"

    Sorry if you got offended

  • I wasn't.

    peace.

  • * Brilliant *

  • really beautiful and relaxing, 5 stars

  • Ah, the divine Lothlorien! <3 There's nothing you can hate about it.

You made a beautifull video, truly amazing!

it is in my playlist , #22

  • Enya writes all kind of piano music

  • I am working on unshackling, and it is all they say it is. Those Indian sages, you can't beat them. Nor can u beat LOTR.

  • This is so great, I wanna know how to play this :/

  • reminds me of a Summoning song, but cant remember which one it was, can anyone help me?

  • wonderful music !

  • How wonderful and terrible that we can resonate with such vibrations, and yet we are predominately here, shackled to this world of limitations, to quarrel with our sinful desires.

    Just a thought.

  • it is in the undersanding of the reason behind those perceived "Sinful" desires that we unshacke ourselves and grow into perfection. life is just mysterious.
