Although we see he is being so anger to everyone, I feel he hate the most is "himself" and he don't let anyone to tough his heart, even Beni. (Or he want everyone to hate him?) He went and hugged with Iago means Iago is the only one can safe him from his sad - even it was an unconscious action. Don't know how to say, just hope Max can forgive himself and don't isolate himself from the world again. The whole year he stay in Africa give him nothing but just lost weight and deeper remorse.

Sorry, I still don't like Gonzalo, even he is a good guy, I can't feel love in between Iago & he. However, if you compare with Iago & Max, the spark between them cannot be hided, you will feel clearly who Iago love and care most. Besides, it should be the same, when Iago was suffering from Max's disappear, at the other side, Max was sure also suffering from thing deep inside his heart that force him to forget everything, including Iago & Beni, I really worry about Max more than Iago now.

Beni is good to give them advise, it may be work if either side (iago or max) no longer love each other, however we see that clearly both iago & max fall in a deep love, no matter how far they go away, how long they separate, love is still here and will only be stronger than before, but will NEVER OUT. The more the resistance, the faster the love become combust. (My english is poor, dont know whether I explain my words clearly).

Yeah, you're right. But Beni cares for Iago and had to see how Iago suffered the last year. Now that he has found the courage to "move on" he just doesn't want that Berta's son gets unhappy because of Max again. After all both know that Max will leave soon...BUT DON'T WORRY FATE WILL WORK THAT OUT FOR THEM!!!

I completely understand his anger. Everyone bailed on Clara except him and he has now lost TWO mothers at such a young age. It's horrible to think about. After everything Clara went trough to get clean and sober and leave prison for her to die in prison with a drug overdose is like salt in the wound. It is understandable for max's behaviour, his character and humanized mind made him so real..I like that max more than before. The storyline at this point has us somewhat confused and even disappointed by how Max is behaving. Perhaps we ( I ) thought that when Max came back, everything would be fine, but it seems we need to 'suffer' along with Max, Beni & Iago for a while until "it" happens, a point where Max opens up and lets his emotions out in front of Beni, Iago and all of us, I still am waiting for a "happy ending" and so we all continue to watch and listen . . .
