I appreciate the correction about Wood's career as an actress. I didn't check out wikipedia so I was way off. One of my favorite Wood role was in "Gypsy" besides "West Side Story"...by the way, is Richard Beymer still around?
I had just started jr high school when Dean was killed and I did enjoy all three of his movies...it is fun to see the young Dennis Hopper with Taylor and the others. The late Natalie Wood hit it big with Rebel at just 16.
I'm from Houston,TX. I remember this song.....it was on the radio, but, frustratingly,NOT on the Capitol Redords' soundtrack, which was an instrumental (Dimitri Tiomkin).

★★★★★ Yes 5 stars for this "movie" & music from the 'baby boomer' generation when this was listened to on the old analog radio and black & white TV. Glad to see this GR8 tune making the rounds now in the digital revolution. Rest In peace Y'all from a native Texan~!
A timeless classic on a large scale, everything about this movie is huge. The Cinema, the music, the stars & the drama, this is GIANT. One of my favourites, they don't make them like this anymore. Hollywood at it's BEST.

@MBDmediaman Natalie Wood was already well known for her role in the Christmas Classic "Miracle on 34th Street" (1947).
