Console games like GoW and Halo are fun, but PC games like Torchlight are better because you can mod them to have more content and replayability (IDK if that's a word, but I'm using it anyway xD).

And the every six months thing is not true. I'm running on 2006 hardware and still running most games perfectly, including Crysis 2.

All im trying to say is that PC's are worth the money to some people and not to others. While PC gaming is inherently better, the console is a viable choice for the casual gamer.
