  • Deep Sea jelly

  • that's my pet, Fred, he does wash up on beaches often, apologies

  • "Hey, what the hell is that thing?!"

    "I don't know...LET'S POKE IT!"

    It's cool; I would, too.

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • o.o

  • You should have put it in a rubbermaid container to take it for tests

  • certain jelly fish can grow to a huge size, so in this case its most likely a jelly fish

  • IT LOOKS LIKE A JELLY FISH GOT PULLED ON A TAFFY PULLER! THUMBS UP IF U AGREE

  • Its basically a giant salp/jellyfish thing. They live in the open ocean, and have seen them before. Not that odd, considering the whole Jellyfish/jelly creature theme that nature has had going on for the open ocean. Still, would not poke.

  • looks like the tunnles that are on mars?

  • it is whale pre cum!

  • What is it *poke poke

  • oh that? that's just a fovihiwcve =)

  • Typical white people...as soon as you discover something unknown...you have to touch it!! And this is coming from a white person. LOL

  • Its a UWC ...... Unknown water creature..

  • if this was real or if this was something totally new to science, then this would have been covered nationally or internationally; not on youtube.

  • @Shokuak I am not a retard. And I'm not trying to make anyone else seem retarded. I'm not saying it's not an alien. I'm just saying that you should consider all possibilities. And trust me I have seen a jellyfish. I've had one thrown on my lap before. Honestly you don't have to get all worked up about one small comment I made. Jeez everyone gets so angry at everyone else for the smallest of things. You could try being nice for once. Look I'm sorry for the comment I made. I didn't mean to make a

  • It's a jellyfish people! Can't you see that? Utterly and obviously a jellyfish. I don't see how that wasn't your guys first guesses. It was for me. You can't say it wasn't a jellyfish cos jellyfish come in all shapes and sizes and colors. Not all are see-through you know. But this one one was, it was a jelly fish.

  • @Sasquatch601 its not a jellyfish dumbass, i didnt see any tentacles, and all jellyfish have tentacles

  • @Sasquatch601 Wow, a retard trying to make everyone else seem more retarded than he is. Maybe you've never scene a jellyfish, or even a picture of one, but there is no species of jellyfish that's has a long body and lack of tentacles. Try watching the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet you flippin' moron.

  • @Sasquatch601 There are no jellyfish on earth that get that size.

  • @Lazuras64 thats not true, there are jellyfish that get way bigger then that. look up lions mane jellyfish, they are just about the same size as a human

  • i don't know what is it but i want eat it :D

cannot be edited im a pro at that kind of stufff the quality of the video and inconsistancy of steadiness would not allow this to be edited in so perfectly

  • it's a colonial organism, made up of thousands of individuals, a pyrosoma. it secretes a gelatinous cover. its like a living city of plankton crichers.

  • And people think that they know the world... we know nothing.

  • I agree.

  • your finger is invisible OMG you can see that :S

  • esa es la mucosa producida por un pez parecido a una angila

  • Imagine if after you touched it it wrapped itself around your body and took over your mind. I would have touched it with a long stick to be honest.

  • If that isn't a giant sea slinky then I don't know what is.

  • lol

  • its a jelly fish duh...there are tons of diff species of jelly fish

  • Awesome! I want to touch it!

  • thats what she said

  • the sea is weird -.- i don't like it. the ocean is just outer space, on earth. they are all aliens -.-

  • I believe OverlordShamala is correct. It is a siphonophore, which is a colony of microscopic animals. They can, indeed, reach very large sizes, up to 130 feet in some cases, and can even resemble jellyfish to an extent. Amazing creatures...

  • that's a siphonopore, a colony of creatures related to coral or jellyfish. Usually these are deep creatures & one single colony can grow up to 100 of feets.

  • I think there is something like 1 or more new species of sea animal found every day so there wouldn't be a big deal of something new washing up on shore.

  • i dunno wat it iz but i wudnt b touchin it

  • Possibly it is not one creature but many little creatures together, forming a funnel or water sack. It excists, i just don't know the name of it.

  • that there be one of those water aliens from the abyss

  • HAHA! YES! water aliens from the abyss. my dad loves that movie.

  • lugworm...

  • erm strange creature thingy lol ye could just be loads of shit from fish joint to gether then been washed up simple things like that

  • that looked so fun to touch :L:L

  • More likely a long plastic bag filled with sea water. Its on a deserted beach, where the film come from, and why only 49 seconds of something this strange.

  • yeah what u said about the 49 sec is so true, shouldnt it have been on TV by now... or scientists would have done research and taken samples to figure out what it is,.......

  • big ass gellyfish

  • i agree big ass gellyfish

  • it is transparent so it must be a strange jellyfish

  • UM...some next type creature no ones seen b4?

  • maybe anaconda????!! o.o

  • hahaha

  • its that thing from the abyss movie!

  • It's a giant sea slug.

  • looks like gelatine. show the head ftw

  • that guy has balls!! he touched it. It could be f**cking poisoned

  • lol good comment, you've got 6 thumbs up...but yeah its deffo some kind of jelly fish and they do sting!

  • um maybe it's some kind of siphonophore?

  • jelly fish?

  • he just had to touch it!! WTH!!!

  • its the loch ness monster? =O

  • as if u start poking it lol

  • ....I have no idea...if I had to guess...some sort of freaky jelly fish?

  • 0:32 is just wrong

  • It's a KY-Jellyfish

  • vaya puto asko de cosaaaaaa

  • why doesn't the camera guy zoom out to surroundings?

  • its a long see through plasic thing with water inside of it

  • it looks like the alien from the movie the abyss

  • lol thats exactly wat i was thinking of too =P

  • it looks like water

  • sea cream an jelly

  • Weird. Almost looks like a gigantic version of the gelatinous substance that encases marine snail eggs...

  • nashroxs297 is right

  • i think its a huge jelly fish

  • i belive these days the call that thing "sand"

  • How does sand become a strange jelly like substance? Please, enlighten me.

  • sea cawk

  • large sea snake

  • big snake or... A GIANT SEA PINGAS

  • Dare you to take a big bite out of it!!! I wonder what it tastes like?? eeew!

  • give it a slap it will move sooner or later

  • HA!

  • oh its fake its a rubber tube filled with water i think dont critisize my guesses

  • Can you eat it? looks refreshing.

  • It's a Salp , verry common in those areas.

Go dive once and see them flooting.

Lying down on the beatch it look weird do :P

  • I don't care what it is as long as it doesn't start demanding human rights.

  • YO that is so a Salp

    Check pictures on google

    Crack Head :)

  • ...this is the type of thing NASA would describe as..."debris".

  • lol

  • it's a mega tapeworm

  • Man... it's not only unrecorded... it's huge for god's sake...

  • i hav seen somethin like it befor

  • I would have not touched stuff like that without gloves.

  • ew what the ....is that?

  • It looks to me like an egg sack string from either a shark or a jellyfish... but... it doesn't look fertilized.

  • hmmm interesting...but y didnt they tape the whole thing??

  • yummm jelly

  • ew man it looks like a invisable water snake...XD

  • not to sound like a smart ass cuz im not. do you or anyone out there think that there are PEOPLE that havent been discovered yet? it is a question to ponder on

  • people discover new tribes all the time :)

  • It's one of the creatures that played in the SF-movie: The Abyss!

  • how can something this stupid, get high rating?!

  • cuz you never really see something this stupid in life lol

  • ew dont touch it!

  • dude find the head but it could be a mutated jellyfish by pollution

  • uhhhhhhhhhhh we call them jelly fish?

  • I would pop it

  • why would you poke something if you dont know what it is? anyway, there are a lot of things in the sea that havent been discovered yet. we can only go so far before our lungs give out because of the tremendous pressure. so then the treasures and the creatures of the unknown abyss is left to imagination.

  • we have submarines etc so we dont get crushed under water by the pressure. We can breath inside a submarine Xd the oceans are just so big that we havent discovered all the things yet :D.

Our earth is 70% water and 30% landmasse.

  • so i guess you know what else is down there too???? its justa question

  • not evey animal has been recorded yet. Most of them live in the rain forest and in the seas.

Did you know we have the same % of salt in our cells as fish and other sea animals?

Maybe a reminder from our past.

Now there is something to think about :D

  • So cute you can poke your finger through it :]

  • its an egg sack

  • Definately the rare species "Mucus Ginormeous"

  • It's the dreaded jello slinky. Yikes

  • Sometime you get tiny little jelly 'buttons' which are baby jellyfish, and they get washed up on shore. Maybe its like a bigger longer version of a baby jelly creature? lol

Or its just a long plastic bag with jelly in it? Who knows?!?!

  • i have been to Eleuthera Island, it is not populated by tourist, it is very small and those creepy jelly things are everywhere in the ocean during low tide..they don't sting..or do anything really..besides cover themselves in sand. And i have NO idea what it is haha

  • It's a Pyrosoma. It's a long chain of critters.

  • so he pokes it ha id probbely do that to

  • LOLZ XD MEE 2 ^^

  • What separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom? Our impulse to poke things.

  • lol y the hell did u get 2 thumbs down?

  • obviously you have never met any cats before.

  • big condom

  • he just dug a ditch and filled it big deal

  • Its Just a sea slug

  • eh?

  • It's a russian water tentacle

  • slinky?

  • I believe the deplesion of our oceans due to over fishing is causing creatures from the deep sea to hunt for food at depts they would not venture before.

  • its sand u moron

  • watch it from 0:31 he pokes it it doesnt move or crumble like sand...

  • he barely touches it, and sand under water acts a little diffrent than sand out of water

  • but still it doesnt move with the waves and you can see the outline of it
