I am definitely interested in learning this lesson. Can you get tabs for what he taught in this video? I am a beginner and my instructor is working on pentatonics with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated from anyone.
tony is awesome as hell. for those lucky enough to meet him, you know hes a super nice guy and very humble. Thanx for the help tony, and cait wait to jam at the house again!
The most efficient way of picking besides sweep picking. It's where if you are going to down then you down pick even if you just picked down. Same for going up. It saves hand movement and allows you to play faster. I used to do it a lot, and still do soem naturally, but I don't try. My teachers would always yell at me for it even though I would stay in time...
Well, you are certainly a good guitar player but the lesson seems to be designed for someone who already knows exactly what you are doing. I know some types of the pentatonic scale but i have no idea what you are doing in that video. unless you have a written tab that comes with this video it would be nice if you played slower first and put your fret board closer to the camera to show each note that needs to be played.

that's economy picking you are describing. He's picking with his middle finger and pick for hybrid picking.
Erock503 4 years ago
hybrid picking is basically finger picking while using a pick, using the fingers which are not holding the pick to...pick

I like it - you could move the mike closer to your mouth so we can hear you better - AA
