In an endurance race i bet the honda accord wins. Hyundais are SHIT for quality. They hardly perform well after 100,000 miles of use. Anyone who objects to this are in some kind of fantasy dreamland

Really? That is kind of funny because me, my sister and my friend all have 2000 Hyundai Elantras both of them have over 150,000 miles on theirs and mine has almost 250,000 miles on mine and they are still performing great, I would know because I just beat my friends civic(b18b1 with a K&N cold air intake and a magnaflow exhaust) by three lengths on a quarter mile with my stock 245,000 mile elantra last week. Both my sister and my friend can almost keep up with me. But ur right im in a dreamland

from an accord owner, i have to give that elantra props. My friend had a modified one that rips. Accords are not drag cars and are really more comparable to a Sonata than an Elantra, which competes with the Civic. Stock for stock, almost any honda accord will EAT an elantra in the corners. Until you swap in an H22 or F20B, almost anything is faster than an accord.

I left a Honda behind me in a Touge style battle a month ago. My Elantra GT has no problem keeping up in the corners.

the gt's aren't too bad, although they still have pretty significant body-roll. Touge battles are really more which driver is better/less of a wimp in the corners. I still prefer my 97 accord. It just feels better to drive (controls feel better, more weight to the steering, less body roll, and lower)
