  • what rubber did you use and what was its spin

  • scissors is easier, glue rubber onto bat, cut around bat ((rubber grip scissors is best )

  • nice thanks for video

  • where can i got that square piece of rubber ????

  • good job

  • Are you in HK?

  • he's talking chinese

  • Comment removed

  • @PreppyPoser1 Immature and lame... Get laid...

  • @AsianSpaghetti Fuck you

  • do you ever cut into the blade with the knife? I cut before then glue and never have trouble and waste less glue

  • I think the blade is Stiga Offensiv Classic

  • @brahms008 No, it`s Stiga Offensive CR

  • @Finrank5 Yes this is the CR version ...

I've played with this blade 2 years ago.

  • nice cutting how long have u been playing TT? and ur like an american living in china or something ?

  • why would you make a vid specialy for cutting a rubber when all you are doing is using a knife and cutting a long the edge. it nothing amazing or cool, but i keep it in mind...thx

  • Do u get both rubbers, red and black when u order them?

  • can anyone please tell me how much is thickness of racket 1.5cm or something like that /?////////????????

  • i think his fingers are all right ;-).

great job. the rubbers were cutted very exactly!

  • You can get those thin blades from the Blokker in the Netherlands if any dutchy reads this :)

I would also suggest using those breakable thin blades, they are cheap and you can break them easily having perfect cutting precision every time :)

  • thanks for all the comments guys

i will try to answer as many questions as i can

  • whats wrong ? i think his fingers are normal ?!?!

you mean the 5° to the other way ? i know someone he can lean his fingers minimum 45 degrees to the back XD

  • i like how ur mom and family is like in the background folding laundry i believe

  • 你個細佬好似見唔到你拍緊片.....猛同你講野....

  • Good job... but is everything okay with your fingers? Looks like arachnodactyly to me... Anyways, keep it up.

  • lol, Whats wrong with his fingers :o

  • Have a look at 0:33, I can't do that with my finger joints.

  • what blade do you use??? tell me

  • a cheap blade from a japanese store around here, dont know the name.

its good because its very thin...so i guess just try to look for something especially thin

  • @zackiecham

lol i thought you meant the wooden blade not the cutting blade

  • @zackiecham It's a Stiga Offensive Classic CR ( or Stiga OCCR)

  • a tipp: put oil from your bike onto the knive. then the cut is better and easier

  • what knife are you using or recommend for cutting rubber?

  • how do you like OC CR in the Non-speedglue era? I found it a little bit too soft and switched to other ones...lol

  • i am using it with tenergy fh and energy 2.0 bh for quite a while and i like it a lot. i dont find it's lower speed making my game any less threatening while giving me much more touch and control

  • hey man, i cut my tenergy and all that but now after i took it off it seems that it got smaller than the blade, what to do ?

  • Ha, ha... I like the asian wife in the background...It makes your video more convincing!

  • Great cutting. I want do cutting my rubbers too because the shop didn't do her best.

Did you glued the rubber first on the bat/paddle or did you cut and after that glue the rubber on the paddle/bat?

Hope someone, or you answer soon,

    tnnx..

  • you should glue the rubber onto the blade before cutting it, otherwise the rubber will stretch and deform when u try to cut it.

  • Thank you!

  • god nice and smooth cutting!

  • Omg your a pro in cutting rubbers :o

  • perfect!

  • how did you get such a clean cut? mine goes all choppy and jaggered =S i use the same stanley knife as yours, any tips?

  • just try to press all the way through from the start, and angle your knife lower, and slightly towards your blade. and most importantly, use a new blade for each cut

  • i have been playing for bout 4 years...i am planning on investing bout 150 in a paddle....ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A DEFENSIVE PLAYER?

  • sorry, im not very familiar with equipment for defensive players. however several of my friends are using joo se hyuk and they quite like it.

  • Matsushita Pro Special... Butterfly makes it. It's a killer defensive blade for both blockers and choppers, yet also generates power for when you need to loop to end the point. I recommend using long pips on one side and something tacky on the other.

  • Yeah, Go to Toys'R'Us and you'll find a great selection for under $5. No but seriously when I used to play tournaments, one time I took a $2 paddle, practiced with it for a couple days and went and played the Under 1800 event. It was hillarious how many players I beat. That had no clue how to play against that piece of garbage. It was worse than long pips and anti-spin. After blocking a loop or chop, tt would send the ball with a random spin back to the opponent.

  • Cool! but the real test for you would be to checkout your performance using the $2 paddle in the event that you usually play in with your favorite paddle.... isolating the paddle as the main factor.

  • yeap, a great blade.

i went to some other blades for a year or 2, then now i've been back to the OC CR for 3~4 months

  • offensive CR?

  • thanks guys

  • perfect cut!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nice job man

  • この動画見てマネしてみたらラバーぼろぼろになっちまった(汗

    カッターはオレには無理っす

  • I'm pretty sure the German TableTennis Association (DTTB) has nothing to do with the USATT? Nice connection?

  • ITTF is international. Therefore the speed glue rule applies to all countries... like Dutchland.

Sorry about the other comment, I thought you were talking to the person who made the video.

    Sorry for my ignorance.

  • I love this, I really do, play at in International level, then thumbs down my comments. I go out there, I know how it works, I don't sit here trolling, trying to spit fake rhetoric off blogs to sound intelligent. If you speed glued a rubber 6 months before a tournament, tell me what effect it will have on the rubber? Case closed, go fuck yourself. You're talking about serious discussion? You randomly capitalize words in your sentences. You're an idiot. Kill yourself never come back.

  • Very Nice !!! Regards for you ;)

  • nice done! :D

  • can u pls tell me how this cutter is called or where i could buy it???

    THX

  • good ol' magna.. what would u recommend if i'm an offensive player.. i have the shriver g2fx and the magna on the all round classic bat.. but they are perma-glued and i want to begin speed gluing what do u recommend>

  • Speed-gluing is forbidden

  • only in tournaments... they still sell it and there are VOC-free water based speed glues which are perfectly legal.

  • nope they are also illegal. The ITTF made a new rule, that forbidds to make any physical or chemical changes on rubbers. You can Speed Glue your rubbers for training, but if you want to play tournaments you need to buy new rubbers.

  • you're an idiot, you can use old rubbers, THE NEW RULE DOESN'T LET YOU SPEED GLUE RIGHT BEFORE A MATCH. THAT'S THE NEW RULE.

  • "you're an idiot,..." Wow! i've never heard something such impressive in a serious discussion! You can use old rubbers wich you haven't speed glued. But if you Speed Glue a rubber it changes the rubber forever. Even after 2 weeks, the Rubber isn't like before.

I got that information from a few Different sources. One is the German TableTennis Association (DTTB).

  • Play in a fucking tournament and get back to me you fucking idiot. No one's going to disqualify you for speed gluing a rubber two weeks before a fucking match. You are the retard. The smell is gone, and the chemical effect is not as near as potent as it was. The only way they'll disqualify you is if you speed glued before a match and IT SMELLS. There is a huge gray area, most big USATT tournaments don't even check. Your sources shouldn't include blogs. Case closed jerkoff.

  • how old are you? 14? I played in a lot of tournaments. I just talked about if it is forbidden. Not if it can be detected. What you said is just like "I took dooping substances in training but two weeks before the Olympic games i stopped, so everything is ok."

  • please. don't spam this informative video with your nonsense. you are the one who must comment your videos with insults to someone you have never even met

  • You make sense.

  • ok nice - cause my edges are looking like bullshit after cutting my rubbers ^^

    kind regards from Hamburg, Germany

  • i tried to cut it on a 'test' rubber ... and it looks really crappy too... and i'm about to cut my tenergy and sriver g2fx... kinda freaked out that i'll full stuff it upxD

  • blade- Stiga Allround WRB

  • oh common thomas dont show ur sex toyz as a usefull equipments

  • is the blade your vibrator.

  • offensive classic CR and torpedo (or torpedo soft? cant really remember)

  • Which glue did you use to stick the rubber to the blade
