  • Kevin's accent kicks in between takes big time, first time I've ever heard it.

  • Hey, it's Mike's keyboard!

  • wonder if he ever has a argument with the puppets?

  • on the last scene the SOL set was lit how it was season 5 on. instead of the bright even lighting.

  • I know i would...

  • They must have had a great time filming this show.

  • lol... "I don't want to hear another peep out of you two."

    "Peeeeeeeeep" XD

  • I don't care how often he messed up: I love Joel. It was adorable how he treated the robots like his children.

  • Joel Hodgson: Hilarious comedian, genius inventor, terrible actor.

  • @BTLemming you can say that again. but it was his terrible acting that made joel so great. instead of zoned out, he seems... laid back, man.

  • Amazing footage!

  • I love how Joel is the only one who screws up...

  • what DVD was this one from?

  • Joel is such a stoner!

  • "Hair in the gate" = awesome ^_^

They do still do that... for movies n whatnot, you always hear check the gate...

  • I didn't realize the door to the theater was so big. I thought it was much closer to the rest of the set than it looks.

  • 2:49 Wow, look how young Kevin Murphy looks

  • baby, stupid, cuddler

  • Good lord. Working in the entertainment industry is ridiculously UNentertaining. Too much work for me. Props to these guys!

  • Right? It must be so much less fun the 17th time.

  • "They never pad out the film with love..." XD

  • *****

  • "Hair in the gate?"

  • Yup, "Hair in the gate". You had to be in television pre-1990 to know what that means.

  • I must've been half a asleep when I wrote that, because I know what it means.

Long ago, before digital technology, film was edited and spliced on a table upon which was a "gate" that the film fed through. Sometime, dust, debris, or even hair would get in the gate, and there you have it.

  • The projectors also had a "gate" and when dust got in it, it looked like a big hair fluttering around in the picture. Commercial TV projectors had compressed air that could be blown into the gate to blow out the "hair".

  • Yes that too. I remember seeing an editor using the compressed air in Disney's The Reluctant Dragon.

  • ....Peeeep. n.n

  • MST3K show #202: The Side Hackers.

  • ~0:31 Trace should know that the correct retaliation/response to 'wood-eye' is 'hare-lip'

  • "Hair in the gate??"

  • It's funny that Trace and Kevin still interact as Crow and Servo in between takes. It almost makes you worry.

  • @ HayesAJones:

Omg I know! It's so priceless. lol GAH! They are just so adorable! <3

  • @HayesAJones The robots are real.

  • @Dulcimerist Sorry to say but they're puppets made out of discarded items, but because of that they're a form of art too!

  • @Ryoku75 You mean they aren't real? You just burst my bubble. LOL

  • @Dulcimerist Good thing is if you know how you can build your own duplicates, I had to go for cheaper alternitive parts and evtnually just made my own Crow-inspired puppet.

  • 2:48 Wow Kevin looks so young when he peeks out xD

  • I love hearing Joel practice singing the song at 7:02. <3

  • "we were having sword-fights." LOL! perfect little-boy humor for two little bots

  • It always amuses me when PUPPETS stay in character between takes.

  • Yeah, hilarious.

  • A blue screen? Hey, they're not REALLY IN SPACE AT ALL!

THis is neat. It really shows how they work at it.

  • GAsp! Heretic! ;)

  • Crow:...they had to pad out the film with all that killing. Joel: Oh no Crow, they never pad out the film with love. Man I love that strange akward piece of accidental dialogue!

  • This is amazing! Thanks for sharing!

  • "...Can we see it?"

  • These are really neat! See, they're not funny in the way the Poopie tapes are - with these you just see them being frustrated instead of silly lol. Still cool though.

  • You gotta love how Trace and Kevin keep working the puppets even when they're off-script...

  • this is cool. Where did you find it?

  • Its on the dvd.

  • Which DVD

  • Its on the dvd version of the movie. Youll find it in the extra footage.

  • The single release or one of the collections?

  • The single release.

  • 'Kay, I don't have that. Bugger.

  • Wow, very cool! Thank you for posting these!
