I wish a lot of Intermediate and High School kids, young adults could have watch a lot of 80's and 90's rock. Utube is fine but T.V. size screens publicizing so much music and then seeing the concerts. Wow!... Really, the 90's wasn't that long ago, but it is 2011, and to listen 2 these bands still growing in the90's was incredible. Keep albums for listening and memories and for today.
I saw them the first time at Lollapalooza 92' at Kitsap County Fairgrounds @ age 17. Between PJ and Soundgarden, it was one of the most amazing shows I've ever been to. The energy was something special that day, but it was still very present years later when I saw them again. If you ever get a chance to see them live, do not hesitate.
@southpawcg shut the fuck up dude it dont matter wen the fuck u were born if u listen to it and go out and buy the albums even fucking download them ur a fan it dont matter wat fucking age u are
Greatest shot in recent music history at 3:34 looking out from the stage -- a massive crowd of rabid fans, cans of Belgian beer on the amp, Eddie giving it his all, and yes that is an original WH-1 Whammy on Stone's pedalboard. Amazing!
great song of the greatest band.Vedder is as sexy as a amaizing singer. They always have lots of interesting concerts, they changed the world.Like Vedder used to say "I change by not changing at all". Just love it :)
I love seeing Dave on drums. Matt Cameron is a great drummer but I think Soundgarden was a better fit for him. When Dave was in the band they just looked like a perfect fit.
@Xoxoqq Well, that sounds more logical, if nothing else. One doen't need to believe articles in magazines one sees on the Internet. It did sound weird, but now that you mention the habit, I withdraw my previous comment. And erase it with shame. :)
This song is in VS and this is like a "beta" of the song, first time any one heard it. So compared to studio it will sound different. This is 92 concert. VS is 93
wow man, im only 25 but this was when music mattered more than anything in my life, i cant believe you guys even listen to pearl jam....theres hope for youre generation after all.
@bugpowderdust Well, let me tell you whipper snappers, when PJ arrived on the scene the world exploded, and they became the voice of my generation. There was no other band that better expressed the angst of those days.
