I think it's real. Look at how the shadow reflects on the floor. If it was from someone off to the side, it would still stretch from that person. If you look at the floor, the shadow walks straight across it to the other side. You can also see when it gets to the middle in front of the treshold the shadow isn't orginating from any place.

Yeah....it depends on where the light source is coming from and how it is angled. I didn't mean DIRECTLY behind the camera. The light source seems to come (if you're facing the shadow) from behind/right of the camera....either side, there's plenty of space to have a light source directed at the hall and not exactly on the camera. Probably multiple light sources like a tri-light pod thinger, who knows.
