Too many defenders give the player in front of them too much time on the ball. You dont want to run in like an idiot but you have to close them down quickly. Then when you go into your tackles they have to be hard... if you go in like a WUSSY your not going to come out with the ball. You have to be ruthless as a defender. Thats your ball! Go and get it!

Defenders who play in the middle of the defense are called Centre backs people who play on the wings of the defense are called right/left backs full backs or wing backs

wtf do u have against italians retard? you're not even brazilian who the fuck are you to talk? you belong to a country with no football history or cups so i wouldn't talk if i were you. italy not only has one of the best leagues in the world, the club with the most cups in the world, it also has a very good national team, statistically the second best. brazil may have a good national team but their clubs are fail. so overall italy definitely represents THE FOOTBALL COUNTRY.

Don't forget. When jockeying a attacker to always force him to the outside. & don't stand straight on, you need to be at an angle, so it's easier to turn if he does ya.

If possible yes, but the main thing is to always send them to the outside or away from goal, that way it makes it harder for a forward to put in a cross or a shot.

That's good don't find many forwards who help out at the back. Learning about defending will help you improve as a forward also, it will help you to read defenders better, if you can guess what they might do, you can figure out what you need to do to beat them.

If you run back to help defense you might want to replace your midfield... the forward that tends to run back is not the main striker... but if your out of position you wont be able to set your striker up... well i guess its situational...
