  • un des meilleur gardien de toute l`histoire de la NHL

    GO HABS GO

  • Wake up Al, wake up.

  • thank you very much for posting this :)

  • I love Ken Dryden!!!

  • Nobody comes close! 5 Cups

  • @carmital 6 actually

  • Aside from being one of the greatest goalies in hockey, he is name most synonymous with Cornell Big Red hockey, and his red #1 jersey now hangs from the rafters of Lynah Rink alongside Joe Nieuwendyk's #25. Though nearby Dryden, NY is not named after the hockey star, I find it fitting that he made his name near a village with his name at a school with the greatest hockey tradition in the NCAA.

  • Someone knows the song that they use to introduce the numbers of the career of Dryden? Beetween the fitfh minutes and the seventh minutes of the video?

  • It's "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve. It's on the Urban Hymns record.

  • Let's not forget his exceptional performance in the 1972 Canadian/Solviet Summit Series.

  • I think the scores prove this wrong. He was considered to be very weak during that series. Yvan Cournoyer stated that he thought that Kenny was weak against the Russians (not just that series).

  • Ken Dryden Is so cool He is a awesome tall Goalie of the 1970's

  • Great! Thanks for posting this.

  • I'm happy you appreciate the ceremony. Go Habs Go

    -Forever Proud-

  • Thank you so much for posting the ceremony. When I found out I missed it, I was so upset. I searched the internet, tried to catch highlights on tv, asked friends to see if they recoded it and to no avail until now. Thank you so much for posting it. I'll be forever grateful. I heard how moving it was.

  • I wasn't able to see the ceremony live so I am so grateful for this, habs267. An incredibly moving tribute to perhaps the greatest goaltender of all time. Ken Dryden was always a class act and this honour was long overdue.

  • thank you so very much for posting. i grew up with dryden living in montreal. and i was out of town on business when they honoured him. s.z
