Totally. Reminds me of the long steadicam shot in Magnolia where Stanley Specter and his father are arriving at the What Do Kids Know studio. It takes you from the parking lot all the way to the game show set.

No, but it seems like it. Like always, perfect tracking through the walking and talking in the walls to show the hussle and bussle of the West Wing. CJ's walk from her office to the briefing press room is one shot. Her exchange with Josh over the phone is a couple different shots, and then of course, back to him bumping head off the headboard. But it flows so well together, it is a exceptional piece of editing.

The walk comprises two shots, not one. Look carefully at 1:37.

@JillyX Actually there's a cut at 2:17 disguised by someone passing in front of the camera, but it's really well hidden. I read somewhere the press room set was on a different stage than the main office set.

@JillyX It's kind of a trademark of The West Wing. Sorkin loves the "Walk and Talk". It's more interesting than the "Stop and Chat", although that happens too. Usually at the height of an emotional scene, like when Sam is yelling at Donna about Black Water and high treason.
