This is my brother-in-law, Bruce Katz. He has been a member of my family for 35+ years. He and his band played here last night, and were as usual amazing. This is not from that performance (obviously) but just a taste of his virtuosity. The other members of his group are also quite awesome, and my very talented brother, TJ Read, joined them to play dobro guitar for a couple of blues numbers. Altogether a wonderful evening.
@jolawyer Cool!! Give Bruce my warmest regards from the other side of the ocean (Switzerland) and a thousand thanks for being one of my most inspirational music/piano teachers for 3 semsters! Somewhere in between 1997 and 1999 or so... don't know if he remembers me... My name is Chris (tian) Thalmann and he got me hooked to the B3. Actually thanks to Bruce I was able to get an incredibly lucky deal on a chopped B3, from this technician called Joe Di Tomasso, who appearantly passed away(sniff)...
...but he lives on here in my studio in Switzerland with my B3 he had modified for me. It made it's way all over the ocean.... Anyways, give Bruce my many regards since I probably would not be playing the B3 every day if it wasn't for him!
