VERY NICE! i'm going to do the same color to my Cobra. i think black knobs would look sweet on it too! i'm sure you can find black knobs off and old RCI or Galaxy parts radio.

@freakzilla10 Yes, the blackout look is sweet. Saw one on ebay. Shaved all the chrome edges off as well.

yep credit card did the scratches, i did the same thing to mine, i found that useing the end of your finger and a soft cotton rag does fine to or like deb said cover the credit card with a soft cloth and its a but man it sure makes old scratched up radio look new again..

Oh, always cover the credit card with a very soft paper towel ( I recommend Viva Towels ) this will stop the scratches that you talked about.
