Top 5, as I remember being a 7 year old at its inception in '02, was probably by far the greatest top hits show on Cartoon Network. That is before they decided to go crappy by canceling much of the shows it featured (like Ed Edd n Eddy, JB, etc.).

The person who was talking in this video must have been the guy in some of the old toonami promos back in Multar and Tom 1 was still around. Remember, the last airing of Toonami when a guy was talking and said "All were brave, all were heroes!", or something similar to that.

I remember this coming on AFTER cartoon cartoon fridays some years back, actually, it was years after cartoon cartoon fridays was canceled, about 2 I think, this always show on TV when i'm at school, I catch it sometimes when i'm out sick. I was PISSED OFF because I wanted Cartoon cartoon fridays back, and we only had this short segment shit, I love it's logo, I was about 7 at the time, but I knew...I knew well.... D:

Used to LOVE watching top 5!! That was awesome. Sadly none of those cartoons, programs, or days spent watching this and other awesome shows will ever return. It's sad to know that it was awesome then but we didn't even realize that everything would one day disappear and we'd never be able to relive those days EVER again! :'(

I started watching CN when I was six(that's when I got cable).Now,I'm 13 and I miss the good old days.I'm like a cartoon freak,and every time I see one of these old CN promos for Top Five I would cry.Cartoon Cartoons Top Five was the best thing Cartoon Network ever had.I was always inches away from the TV when Top Five came on.Oh,how I miss those days.

Fuck, I remember this was still on in '08. It was sad, it was on EARLY in the morning, and got NO promotion. It had the greats such as Dexter, Cow N Chicken, Johnny bravo ect. Looks like they cancelled it, AGAIN. Fuck.

Cartoon Cartoon Fridays showed premieres of the shows. The Top 5 is the top 5 episode for the week, which showed on Sundays, I believe. So the top 5 might be an episode of PPG, then EEnE, then Johnny Bravo, Dexter, then KND. (For an example.)
