Ellie Goulding is the most unoriginal female musician i have ever heard. Her singing voice is a poor imitation of bjork who was using that vocal style 20 years ago, though it seems like every other 'alternative' female vocalist is singing like that these days. her accent is contrived and unoriginal, again a poor imitation of better musicians, and her best song is a dreadful cover of what was an excellent song; completely disregarding the beautiful harmonies that make the original so good.

I love this and the original. It's a cover. It's meant to be a cover. If you want to listen to something more like the style of the original, just listen to the original. Personally, I think when covers are too much like the original, they're boring/unnecessary. This is a beautiful rendition whether or not it's the same style of music.
