3D doesnt take anything away for me personally, for me ghibli is a lot about environment and character design and judging from the videos I've seen this is all quite on-point.

3D let's you get a much greater immersion, and I think they've done as well as they could have to make up for the loss of control over the users experience- like you can't guarantee the same experience in 3d as well as you can in 2d, but you gain freedom and immersion so it's worth it imo.

This is the kind of video game I live for, PS3 is so winning my heart this video game generation, PS3 just gets the beautiful games, even the upcoming Disney game for the Wii doesn't look this gorgious, and the 360 has nonthing near this beautiful, graphics are not everything, it's way I love White Knight and Valkyria Chronicles. Beauty and art matters. 360 isnt popular enough in Japan to get such beautiful games, and western designers are very dull on their idea of beauty.
