Aww, the Twiddlebugs are sooo cute. I'm referring to this version of the Twiddlebugs as opposed to the computer animated ones they show today. I even have a collectable 10" plush Twiddlebug doll I found at a local thrift store.

When I saw this as a kid I misunderstood what the Twidllebugs were saying and I thought their objective was to get to the "loo". I asked my mom wat a "loo" was and she told me that was a bathroom in England. It was years before I found out they were in fact trying to get to the "zoo". I thought the Twiddlebugs were just trying to relieve themselves.

I love and miss the classic Twiddlebugs. Regarding the computerized version, their current voices are not the same cute, chipmunk type ones.

BTW, FYI, Father Twiddlebug was voiced by Jim Henson. Mother was voiced by Frank Oz. Brother was Richard Hunt. Sister was Jerry Nelson.

I know because I recorded this sketch on a special tape recorder which has speed variation.
