Its not that dangerous, methanol is the most dangerous aspect of it, but even that isnt that bad.

Try using new pure vegetable oil as motor oil. You don't even have to mix chemicals in it.  It's already good to go.

Straight vegetable oil is OK for 2-3 occasional uses or mixed at a low rate with diesel but soon it will clog all your pipes and damage your injections and cylinders... the diesel motor "does not want" to eat all that glycerine in the oil... take out the glycerine and you have a nice fuel to run for 1,000,000 of kms

I don't think that I would ever use any sort of diesel as motor oil. Vegetable oil would be fine as motor oil. Canola oil works the best for motor oil.

very interesting video. I have made bio diesel myself once. However, the product the reaction yielded is a clear, very thin liquid. The vapors sting your nose. Is it still biodiesel? It does light on fire with an open flame so I'm suspecting it's just methanol with something else in it. I used 12M sulphuric acid as the catalyst. What's going on?
