  • back stance too short. Stances generally too high

  • im im competeing tomorow at this tournament :S

  • a good rendition of the kata. if it wwas compared to other ones, including some who claim they do itkf style, it is superior by all means. well done.

  • Nice kata :)

  • woah your jump kick was low and completely

    sideways.cool

  • I feel like the kata is rushed...also maybe it was your injured feet but the stances are generally too short. Lack of hip rotations also. Other than that, the kata looks good.

  • this guy is a pupil of Kawasoe Sensei. However, I'm sure your comments are valuable

  • que posiciones tan mal hechas...

  • I just notice this says UKTKF, can you tell me if this is actually on the UK?

  • yes it is, it stands for United kingdom traditional karate federation... i think

  • one of the few katas in competition that i like, not the kata itself, but the way it was done, surely it's from japan, western competitions are more focused on stetics and gymnastics than in real kime

  • Hi LUishem, glad you liked my kata. This was at the UK national chaqmpionship held at Blackpool, England a few years ago. We are the Welsh faction of Kawasoe Sensei's UKTKF, and Nishiama Sensei's ITKF.

  • Did you win? I agree with some of the above comments--very nice focus, very crisp, but more rotation/vibration of the hips would've exhibited more power in the technique. I've won multiple tournaments with the kata here in the states, and yours is clearly top-notch. Keep posting the vids!

  • Nice one!
