  • did you switch to 34" scale or the basses just came like that? did u ever feel unconfortable with the string tension of the 35"? just out of curiosity.....

  • I switched to 34". I've gone through a lot of scale lengths over the years on my Elricks- I've owned from 33" all the way up to 36", and just have found that I prefer the shorter reach of a 34" just a little more than a 35", although the 35" on an Elrick is already a pretty easy reach due to the design. I like the slightly higher tension actually- now that I use 34" basses, I use higher-tension strings (DR Lo Riders and Elrick Nickels).

  • beatifull instrument man just amazing, is it a 35" scale? and if it is what strings do u use?

  • That one was a 35" (my current basses are both Elrick sixes that are 34"). I usually kept either Fodera Diamond or DR Hi Beam steels on it- for this vid I believe it was strung E-C with a light gauge set.

  • nice

  • That is an odd looking bass.

  • its a top notch gorgeous bass with exotic woods

  • what cords do u use in the peice its nice

  • sounds like a dressed up 2-5-1. The first chord being minor flat 5, dom 7, then minor 7. Am I even close ?? lol
