I agree with the others here; the "advertised" purpose for this may be trash paper containment, but it was built so well, is so isolated, so easy to secure with only a few guards, that it would be quite easy to use it to store a LOT of bodies, alive AND dead! I've lived long enough and seen enough in my life, worked some interesting jobs, and know beyond any doubt that if you can imagine it, the government & law enforcement is now, has, or WILL explore using that against us. NEVER trust them.

It appears to me that "someone" put an awful lot of money into this facility and this fencing, if it is only meant to keep loose paper from the landfill from blowing away. I worked on this HUGE National Guard base in Idaho, there was an area perhaps a dozen miles or more towards the back of the base, WAY out in an area that could not be seen unless you knew to look for it, that had several large 12' containment areas with the tops facing IN, and guard facilities around the perimeter. Is it easier to fill in the rest of the fence when they need it or start from scratch? I think it would be a touch of whimsy to put the enemies of the state on top of a garbage dump. The open side can have some razor wire and ten guys with machine guns. Makes sense to shoot in only one direction. Maybe that's like a killing spot where you dump the people and they can't run out of range? Who knows. I hope NOT to find out.

ive been there before we(some friends and I) were on the other side of the mountains and we saw a private dirt road so we climbed the mountain to get a look at what that road let to and there it was that place idk what it is but sure had a lot of space and there was a big appeared to be a steel door.? maybe underground shelter.? or a base thingy.? we should of checked it out.!

what is the contradiction between punishing non believers in a prison and having the prison a trash dump? This is not a jail. The fence is only on one side to stop the prevailing winds from the South-West from blowing the trash and the light plastic grocery bags in particular into Utah lake. The big fence is only on one part of the landfill, periodically moved as the land fill grows.

I could drive over to it and make a vid to show you.

If you want something that freaks people out investigate the 'AG' building in Payson and the 130 or so reefer rail-cars parked along I-15 west of Spanish.

@bcott28 I live just a few miles from this and have driven right in. The tall fence you see only goes about 1/3rd the way around and has been moved a few times as the landfill grows. Even hardcore patriots I know have driven right in there and will tell you this is a dump

Yep this is NOT a camp, definitely a landfill. This is actually not in Genola it is found approx 5 miles north of the hwy6 and 68 junction just north of Elberta.

For years this has been showing up on the internet as a FEMA camp but it is just a trash-pit. However if you are into shooting or rabbit hunting it is a good area for that! ;)
