Honestly, I'm about as open minded as it comes but this song all around fails. Vocals just never take off, and the riffs can't even be saved by those weak ass blasts . The rest of Rated X isn't AS bad but fuck, why make a music video for this?? Even for they're debut album it was still 1995. Pierced From Within, None So Vile, Millennium(year later) all came out at around the same time. Don't get me wrong, Deranged has some way better material than this no doubt, but this one is a turd.

@ninjaraku We're not really talking traditional music here, though. For death metal, especially swedish death metal, this is absolutely stellar. I personally love this band, understanding the lyrics aren't important. The voice in death metal is as much another instrument as the distortion in the guitars. It fits with the music, theres plenty of other metal bands where you can understand the lyrics perfectly well. With death metal, that is not the case.
