Cool! I see that last car in the Oakland yard all the time. I was starting to think that it was just a show piece! I just rode the California Zephyr and loved the trip through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Thanks for posting the video.
BTW, did any security people give you a hard time? The last time I tried to shot photos at SAC, a security guard yelled at me to put my camera away! Never had that problem at any Amtrak station before and I've been to several.

@DardanellesBy108 yea, the silver solarium is usually parked in oakland coach yard if its not on some excursion, and i have been to talked to by the people at the sac depot

Very nice shot for not using a tripod. Also haven't seen a dome car on the Zephyr for a while.
