It seems Angel Funders and Venture Capitalists only want to go with TECH, not only that but guaranteed high return and nothing less. I understandthat as a business strategy but is that ANGEL funding? or help in any way, really? What happened to helping create infrastructure, or helping because you believe in the mission of the company seeking funding, does it have to be 400% returns within 12 months or would it be OK to make 150% in 3 years?? Theres almost no chance now unless youre in tech.

God forbid anyone has bad credit by extenuating circumstance.

This IS bullshit, and the speech goes right into the realm of VC.

@SenatorTonyKreutzer I went all out and worked for months on an important project for a business startup, not only was it awesome but it was timed perfectly to help with the rebuilding of Egypt's tourism & their infrastructure. You know how many Angels out there dropped any funds into it? Not one. Not a dime. With hundreds of strategically placed ads & posts, on an extremely high traffic site, included a really good video presentation using stunning pictures & great music, no angels to be found.

Im sick and tired of having to deal with the mortgage companies, need a mortgage loan. More Angels should help people with mortgage loans and then we dont have to give our money to this banks, that do not care at all about families.

You're right, passion is essential to any successful start-up. I guess that means a person must really enjoy what they're doing and find something they enjoy doing before they consider spending fourteen hour days to develop a new company. If you don't like what you're doing, all the money in the world won't buy happiness. Thanks for the video, very informative and very wise advice.
