  • All this is down to overgrazing , water misuse by famers and over deforesting. The lack of trees creates a lack of rain, the same thing has happened all over the world - all due to human mismanagement.

  • Perhaps they shouldn't export so much of their water.

  • what the hell a nomatic Mongols/Turks knows about the taking care of the enviorement anyways?

  • Another 70 million people and Turkey will suck it dry and become like the Arabian dessert.

  • Overgrazing compacts the soil sending the surface water to the sea.Deforestation exposes the topsoil to the sun's rays causing water to evaporate quickly.

  • They should reforest the place. It is overgrazing not global warming that is the culprit.

  • I find these documentaries really interesting since it shows what is really happening and also new phenomenas. keep up the good work!!!

  • Okay, here's my imbecilic response:

All life is going to shrivel-up and blow-away, except the very wealthiest who will attempt to dig deep holes in the Earth where they will build monuments to themselves to live in with their water, bottled from Fiji.

  • well there is an existing way to have more water than ever thought possible, and have the industrial power to use it, without destroying the environment. Its off the self technology, nothing new. its just not used.

  • Could you elaborate with some links to this technology ?

  • Or maybe people should do something about global warming instead of consulting someone who will redirect water from a river, drain water and create hardship downstream.

Easier to stick your head in the sand, pretend global warming doesn't exist and then watch humanity join the dinosaurs in the mausoleum of extinct creatures.

Remember this: the world doesn't need humans, but it can't live without worms.

  • Turkish beekeeper...wow. And I thought I've seen it all.

You know, I heard about this swiss doctor guy who was somehow irrigating the Sahel in Africa..it was a story on Al Jazeera. Maybe the Turks should consult him.

  • Do you have a link back to that article on YouTube ?

  • whats so surprising ?
