  • this is by far the best ccr tune ever , makes me wanna get up and dance and i dontttt dance lol

  • CCR is one of my favorite bands. This is coming from a 13 year old.

  • Great video, Great song to go with!

  • Stu is such an under-rated bassist!

  • The Bayou man....dig it

  • One of my favorite CCR songs, haven't heard it in a while !

  • great job on this vid, should be the video

  • wut is a cross tie walker?

  • @hotwirehenry a cross tie is the wooden piece sitting on the balast rock and holds the rails on the tracks down with the aid of spikes and a cross tie walker is a hobo who walks on the cross ties ,as are flatcar riders ,chooglin on down to new orleans of course. hope this helps...

  • <<<loves CCR!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL VIDEO!!!!!!! WOW....THANKS Australianphoenix.........

  • CCR had such a fresh and innocent sound with all the junk going on in the late 60's. They were the best crossover band of their time.

  • NICE VIDEO & BEAUTIFUL CCR SONG!!! THANKS FOR POSTING......

  • @ australianphoenix: Hi, fine video. Thanks for the pictures combined with this rocking song by CCR. Brightens up every boring day.

  • poor american railroads, no passenger service anymore.

  • So many years without listening this song, nice pictures and wonderful song. Thank you for posting.

  • Always loved this song the most, even more than Green River. It's such a catchy tune. A friend of mine helped John get started in the business. His name was Kenai, and was also Janis's road manager, in the 60's. He just passed away a few years ago. He also was a part of the 'Medicine ball Caravan'.

  • just the song, fuck off the video, just the song, hell yeah....

  • Man! Another great, lesser known tune from Creedence!

  • 1:08 - 1:27...looove that rockabilly sound!

  • awsome

  • @airborne022: ... let's say among the best they made and there's many of them .... They've been unrivalled to this day and without John going solo there would be no one doing such great music today.

  • best song they ever made

  • a classic traveling through indiana song this is indiana at at its best

  • all i can i say is indiana...lol go hoosiers

  • I remember walking the cross ties with friends when I was young. I always hated it because I'm a short person. It was hard to walk on the ties because short legs don't reach that far. One step on a tie, one step in the rocks between the ties. I was more like a cross tie hopper than a cross tie walker. CROSS TIE HOPPER -- I should write a song about that.

  • cool pics,

there is a line train near my home, maybe sameday i take a ride.... xD

  • freight train

  • Creo que "cress tie" es algo así como puente y "walker" se refiere a las personas que pasan por ellos pero no me convence mucho tampoco.

  • alguien me puede decir q significa el nombre de la cancion. la toco con mis amigos pero no entiendo el nombre

  • Similar beat to bad moon rising.. good stuff

  • A TODA MADRE PUTETES

    well done,

    uwe

  • thank you Uwe I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • @australianphoenix This tunes video shows the CPR Railroad, my home town of P. La. P, MB is where the CPR and CNR switch directions. They actually cross lines CNR nows goes north and Cpr goes south Neat eh lol

This song reminds me doing those trips .

  • Years ago I used to walk the "ties" with my kid brother and cousin. We'd throw the rocks to try to break insulators! Something just about every boy did. Nowadays you'd be called a juvenile delinquent and the parents would be sued and/or thrown in jail. I miss the old days.
